Tattoo First Timer Yet?

MaryseBlossom:

But I'm guessing you now prefer tattoos a lot more. (If you didn't really like them a lot, you wouldn't be planning to get a wedding dress, an Anastacia-style gown, right.)

Its way different. I love both and am consisting a piercing actually, where Marylin Monroe used to have a beauty spot.

MaryseBlossom:

Well, I'm sure it's nice to combine both tattoos and piercings, anyway.

When you mention a Monroe, did you mean that you have gotten a Monroe piercing, or you are considering getting one? (wasn't sure what you meant.)

Haha, I don't have too many--only a few, but I have more lined up (getting another next month). Every single one that I either have or will be getting in the near future are old fashioned ;)

LysanderShapiro:

Oh well, sounds like you're keeping your local parlor busy anyhow. Does your wife usually accompany you, maybe?

Sometimes people bring family members to watch; other times they will get ink themselves, too...Kind of makes for a long session if two people are having it done, though. Depends on the size of the design, though. If you read above, MaryseBlossom was describing a really big one that she is in the middle of doing in stages.

Anyway, tattoo artists have to be just a bit firm and decisive about their professional time.

can you tell us what are their design?

My next one is going to be Pierre from the Maurice Sendak book of the same name (my favorite book when I was little). I'll be getting it on the back of my arm, but in black and grey (I avoid colors).

I saw--that's pretty cool. Yeah, sometimes people have to make multiple appointments to complete a single tattoo if it's large and detailed enough.

Well, I see! kind of different in style from your mother's tattooed Hebrew letters, anyway...
