If I were to commit suicide, would I go to hell?

Yea think about how horrible it be for your loved ones.
Then they would question why?
And it wouldnt do them any good.

In the bible, it was Judas who killed himself, and King Saul I think it was. I dont think it was because they thought God was no fun.

Jesus is fun...besides, you way too young for your parents to be planning your funeral. A funeral is not the kind of FUN Jesus had in mind. When we become christians we carry the death of Jesus in our bodies, signified by baptism but we dont STAY under water. we rise to new life! just like Jesus did.
You know when he came back from the dead, he didnt go round in his grave clothes fasting and mourning all the time. he went and had bbq fish with his buddies. He told others to spread the good news. Its fun being a christian cos you get to go places. In fact, he commands us to spread the gospel to the very ends of the earth! Those that renew their faith will rise like on eagles wings!

Once you are born again, you cannot be unborn. Neither suicide, nor any other death can ever change the fact that God is your Father in Heaven. The idea of suicide is utterly foolish, but this post is merely to remove the falsehoods around your eternal state whenever or however you die.
Above all things Juk, you really need to get better acquainted with your heavenly father.

Juk, when you were born, your physical earthly body was created using your father's (and mother's) DNA. As an adult, you may possibly wish to disown that fact. You could change your name, move to the other side of the planet, dye your hair green, change all your habits, have plastic surgery, change your sex, change your speech accent or language etc, despite all this, you will always remain as the son of your earthly father. No change to your earthly body will change that historic fact one iota, not even death can change your earthly father or the DNA that resides within you.
Likewise, when you became born again (born from above) of your heavenly father, that becomes a historic fact that cannot change, God's DNA now resides within you. The death of your body cannot change your spiritual DNA which belongs with your heavenly father.
The parable of the prodigal son makes this clear. No matter where the son went, no matter what he did, he was always his father's son. He might have lived for a time completely out of fellowship with his father, and made his life a mess, but the fatherhood facts are still facts.

David understood this in his relationship with his heavenly Father as Psalm 139 makes clear.

1You have searched me, Lord, and you know me.

2You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.

3You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.

4Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely.

5You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me.

6Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.

7Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?

8If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.

9If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea,

10even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.

11If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,”

12even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you.

13For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

14I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

15My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.

16Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

17How precious to me are your thoughts,a God! How vast is the sum of them!

18Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you.

19If only you, God, would slay the wicked! Away from me, you who are bloodthirsty!

20They speak of you with evil intent; your adversaries misuse your name.

21Do I not hate those who hate you, Lord, and abhor those who are in rebellion against you?

22I have nothing but hatred for them; I count them my enemies.

23Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.

24See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

God is your Father now. Nothing can ever change that!

JUk that is totally not true. God wants you to have fun. In fact God will set things up so you have more fun then you thought you would. You can talk to God as you are playing and having fun and develope your relationship with him as well.
Blessings
Jim
There are two sides. Firstly, whenever I played games, it seemed like I was in a void, completely away from God. Secondly, whenever I played this game called Smite (I don't play it anymore) I used to think about Jesus. But I didn't last too long because I was playing a video game.

Oh no you wont. Just invite Jesus to have fun with you. HE IS your friend and why wouldn't you invite your friend to have fun. HE wants to have fun with you. HE is not a tyrant but a loving God and HE wants to see HIS children happy. I always ask Jesus " what do you want to do today?" I just bring my friend every where I go and we do stuff together and HE never says no. I'm your friend too JUK and I don't want to see you hurt. I will be praying for you my young friend :)
Thanks. But why does He not respond?

I am feeling better, not so sad anymore, but I am still contemplating on what I should do. I know that getting close to Jesus is a priority, but I have tried many things. I know that faith is the answer. But what does that mean? I know that faith is the hope in things unseen, but what does that mean?

John 20:29
Jesus said to him, Because you have seen Me, Thomas, do you now believe (trust, have faith)? Blessed and happy and to be envied are those who have never seen Me and yet have believed and adhered to and trusted and relied on Me.

That is one of the verses that I like the most. I like how the King James puts it: "blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe".

I'm just glad you feel better okay.
Take it one step at a time and one day at a time okay.
I've also only become a hearth Christian a few years back, I'm going to be honest with you. this faith thing people so easily argue about this way and that way back and forth, it's actually a bit perplexing.
Faith is more that believing something that you cannot see and touch, and yet it is.
Faith is more than the word and hearing the word, and yet it is.
Faith is more than the step we take in faith, and yet it is that.
For an unbeliever, what is faith but nothing, so faith is Him, Jesus.

Sometimes we need to step back from us ourselves trying to figure it out completely from A to Z, and we may just be surprised to see that the faith we require comes at the right time and place without us having to figure it out and pin it to a frame.
Then we realise, but those things that everyone has been arguing about this way and that way - we have done it to get to the point we just reached.

So are you saying that faith is Jesus?

Juk some times we try to hard to hear Him and He is speaking but we are trying to hard and miss it. Most of the time and especially at this stage He will speak when you are relaxed and not even thinking about hearing Him. So have some fun and enjoy the day he has given you.
Its not a sin bro to have fun.

What faith will you have without Him - none.
You said you know you need to get closer to Jesus. Why did you say that?
Without Him, you'll only roll in the mud of the world and not have faith, you'll live for the things of the world - no faith. You'll live for the things that are seen, not unseen and so much greater.
But all those other things for faith listed, they count still.

I know one thing for sure: every time that God has talked to me, I did not expect it. Every single time.

Exactly......as we learn to hear Him and learn how to talk with Him, well this is the normal.
You have to expect to hear from Him and yet you tend to hear Him when you were not expecting to...Does this make sense to ytou ?
