In comparison to the days of the apostles we are a crowded planet
full of a vast variety of cultural beliefs and acceptable norms.
John 11:23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. 24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. 25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
Mathew 7:14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
The problem is in the world today few people believe that one simple John 3:16 verse, which makes Mathew 7:14 so relevant. Maybe during the time it was written, the same was the case.
it might be a tight squeeze at times
with the sin nature of my flesh
but no matter how small the eye of a needle is,
nor how narrow that road to eternal life is
believing I shall be in the kingdom of heaven
and thats the most beautiful gift
I could ever receive that I dont deserve
Thank you Father in the name of your Son Jesus Christ for eternal life
Amen~
