I feel wonderful brother. I never said otherwise. IMO it did NOT fit our conversation and it seems that you were trying to say something without saying something. Just say it !
If my understand is wrong and you meant something else then I am deeply sorry and ask for your forgiveness and understanding.
Why do you consider bringing the truth of the word to the internet a waste of time? Much on the internet is spiritual gobbledegook. I have been used of God to bring people to salvation on the internet, and have mentored and helped to set free at least three new believers who were demonically hindered from getting on a firm basis with Jesus Christ.
That is not God's way. Many people in hospitals are reticent to be healed. I know of one well-known preacher who did that and found that many were embracing their sickness, and one in particular refused healing because it would ruin her financial security with disability income, etc.
If God calls a person to go and lay hands on a person, he should obey that call. I have been used by God to bring healing to strangers in a store while out shopping, but only as God instructed me to do so.
Believers are believers. But there is more for us out there in God than you have failed to proclaim. God wants us to become all that He has created us to become, but denying the things He has given to us to bring to the world---like healing---is a hindrance to the Body of Christ. It makes those of us who do these things have to work all the harder. We are soldiers in the King's army and when one has to step over other soldiers in the same army to go forward, as well as lend our shield's protection over them so they will not be injured, it is cumbersome.
All I am asking is that YOU go and do as you say you can. DO IT! If God has told us to go into all the world.......and He has and YOU have claimed that you can, THEN JUST DO IT! Why would you say that I or others here are a hindrance as I am personally telling you that I will be glad to go with you or take you! That's not a hindrance!!!!
I am not arguing with you or challenging your faith I am simply encouraging you to go and heal the suffering in hospital. Listen......I will drive you if you will allow me. It just seems that instead of talking about this lets go do! AMEN????

Good day all! Tonight is prayer meeting night and I have several good friends who are sick and two who are terminal.
I have to go visit them and pray for them and encourage the families as best as I can.
I do hope that God will hear our prayers and heal these dear people but I know each one of them has accepted Christ and are saved waiting on that last breath here on earth.

We will always have the sick and those who do not have faith with us, and all manner of prayer and laying on of hands will not empty hospitals of such folk.
Brother, The are the gifts of the Holy Spirit in which "yes" God does use man to lay hands on the sick to bring healing, but this work is "as the Spirit wills" not as man wills.
1Co 12:7.. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.
1Co 12:8.. For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit,
1Co 12:9.. to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit,
1Co 12:10.. to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.
Then we have the "prayer of faith" in which all believers can pray for them self's for healing's once they know, and believe the scriptures that show that.
Then there is the "calling for the elders " in a Church to pray for them, and anointing them with oil for healing.
Jas 5:13.. Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
Jas 5:14.. Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
Jas 5:15.. And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

Brother, God has provided different ways in which a person can get healing, either by their own faith, or through the faith of someone else. He can even receive healing through the Gifts of the Holy Spirit when so chooses to move. There is no excuse not to believe as healing is given to us in the atonement of Christ!
Mat 8:17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
If Jesus bore our sicknesses then why are we bearing them?

No one contests that miracles happen and that they are of God and serve as validity of His Word. No one contests that we are miles to the sky deep in sin and deception. No one person "saves" another - that is the work of the Holy Spirit and Christ. It is said that the AC comes with lying wonders and seeming miracles - if you seek miracles and to do the miraculous, you may well be drawn off the path and miss the greater miracle. I have seen miracles and am awed by God's power but I do not seek them. I seek truth. I enjoy a good magic show now and then, I do not seek God from them.

Sister, if you are seeking truth, then if God says he bore your sickness and carried your diseases, and with his stripes you WERE healed, why are you not seeking them? This is not "magic" this is TRUTH.
I AM healed/saved by Christ's sacrifice. In the way the words were meant not as I have wanted them to say. Again and again, I am reading that some Christians think they have "more" faith than others and are priviledged, somehow. If you need miracles to bolster your faith, so be it. When I look I see miracles in all of God's creation and am awed. I am awed by the miracle of scripture and it's prophesies. I am not awed by faith healers who heal no one or prophets whose prophecies are false. I store my treasures in heaven - not here. I have seen "wonders" in the occult world and they are not of God.
One more thing, @Fish Catcher Jim can you tell me one good parent that doesn't fear for their children and since when is that a sin?

Cool thread! Haven't had a chance to read all the posts, but thought it'd be fun to share my thoughts on this interesting subject.
For me I would think it means we are healed in every aspect of the meaning. What caused us to be "unhealed"? Sin. Who were the first to sin? Adam and Eve. Why did they sin? Basically, not trusting God, which is lack of faith. What did sin bring that we did not have before? Death and sickness. But worthy is the lamb that was slain, His blood paid the debt for those who believe (have faith in Him), and there is plenty of examples in the Bible of what faith can do, including physical healing.

There are plenty of examples of those who were not miraculously, physically healed and they were Apostles. But that has been discussed. No one contests that God can heal/has healed/and will heal. No one contests that sin caused the world to be as it is. Expecting that God promised physical healing for every believer is a fallacy and causes believers faith to waiver or crumple when illness strikes. Prayer can and does move mountains but sometimes the result you want is not in God's plan.
Fear is not of God ! When any one parent or not walks in Fear then this limits their faith. Fear is twisted faith. Fear is the exact oposite of faith. The parent should rather be strong in His word and stand on His word and know to trust God in total belief and this has no place for fear. Fear is not concern. Fear is present when faith is absent. Can a pear tree produce figs ?

Nothing to forgive major. It seemed as if you felt I was getting angry or something and this is why I asked if you were feeling ok. Around here when some one says see where I am going with this.....it is nothing more then saying see what I am saying with out having to say a hundred more things. It is nothing mean or cocky and if around where you are at it is taken other wise then this would be what happened.

Major so am I and I made a choice to not argue or get all worked up. So let it be known brother there is no aught between us and the days of going back and forth and getting all worked up are dead and gone.
Walking in Love is to be done even if something is trying to get you upset. This is where I am at so please I ask of you Brother, if you feel something is mean or rude just ask because it will not ever be written like that.
I also have made up my mind to not ever reply if something really got to me until I walk away and pray. I did just that the other night with some one who was getting into his flesh big time and said what I knew to say and no more ever came from it.

Who among the apostles was not healed?
The only people whose faith crumbles are those who have trouble with belief. Jesus spoke that numerous times to people. Healing isn't always instantaneous. God grants it as soon as we ask for or claim it. Remember Daniel and his having to wait 3 weeks for his answer that was dispatched immediately upon His asking? He had faith, but there was a diversion in the heavenlies---so, just because we often have to wait for our healing is not necessarily because we lack faith. We simply need to continue to claim it as ours and it will come. Satan hates it when God's children depend on God for healing, so he likes to throw a monkey wrench in to make us think that we may lack in faith. That may NOT be the case. Hence, we need to take stock of ourselves.

How is this even possible ?
How would ones faith waiver over this ? Gods wioll to heal does not in any way shape or form mean sickness does not try to get on you or that you do not feel the symptoms BUT what it does say that you can stand on His word and receive the healing.
Faith must be strong which simply means no fear or no doubting that it is Gods will to heal.
You may blow your knose a hundred times as you stand on your healing but you do not give up or waiver or question if it is Gods will to heal. This is how you see the victory. This stuff about if it was Gods will it would be done automatically is simply wrong believing.
