Living a Christian life. I don't walk the streets telling people about Jesus, and I don't do any charitable works like I should.I mean what do you struggle with specifically?

None that I can see, no.You have no works?
Heroine bad.What?
and that's what is getting you down?None that I can see, no.
Living a Christian life. I don't walk the streets telling people about Jesus, and I don't do any charitable works like I should.
Pretty much, it makes me feel like I'm not really Christian.and that's what is getting you down?
What do you mean?Do you ever just see a need, even a small one, and fill it?
But when I read all of what the Bible has to say I get discouraged because I don't see it in my life, making me think I am fake. You are being too hard on yourself!!!
What do you mean?
I don't know. I'm locked in my basement most of the day, so I don't have very many opportunities.Do you ever just do something for someone when you see a need, no matter how small?
I don't know. I'm locked in my basement most of the day, so I don't have very many opportunities.
I think I mentioned it earlier, but I'm a loner and don't really have any "Hangout" friends. No social media, no nothing.I am sure God will give you opportunities if you ask Him. Why are you locked in your basement most of the day? You need to get out and be with people.
In Matt 15:8, I feel like the one whose heart is far from the Lord.Cosmic, there is no way in hell that if you love Jesus there are NO living works coming from you.
Smiling and patting people on their backs is not Christianity. It is smiling and patting people on their backs.
Christianity is selflessness. Like how you tried to help those atheists. You were concerned only about them and not winning any pride centered debate. There are three scriptures that you need to take before bed tonight.
Matt 15:8 These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.
Matt 7:22-23 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
Christians don't look for friends. We go about doing God's will. Go help out at a homeless shelter. Go help people at church, old always need help with something. Give people lifts to church. You will make many friends doing these things and feel your time is used fruitfully. I think that is the main issue here. You feel your time is flying by and when you look back you see nothing. Count me in too!! The onus is on us!I think I mentioned it earlier, but I'm a loner and don't really have any "Hangout" friends. No social media, no nothing.
I think it might be worth mentioning I'm 16 and don't even have my driver's license yet.Christians don't look for friends. We go about doing God's will. Go help out at a homeless shelter. It doesn't necessarily mean we don't love Jesus if we don't get involved. We are all different. But how can we not want to help the elderly, widows and orphans? They are everywhere. Not hard to find.

In Matt 7:22-23, I feel like I am the one who is being said to "Depart from me!"
In James 1:27, I don't see myself visiting the fatherless or widows, and much less keeping myself unspotted from the world.
I mean my parents tell me otherwise, but that's not how I see it.
Matt 15:8 is between you and God. You / we all need to examine our heart daily! I approve of what Jesus taught! I am grateful for what Jesus did! I choose to daily carry my cross! and do whatever He tells me or whatever scripture tells me is the right thing to do! I will worry about my feelings when I am dead!In Matt 15:8, I feel like the one whose heart is far from the Lord.
