Strong delusion

Paul is talking about the world of unbelievers during the Tribulation, under the reign of the Antichrist. The actual delusion could eb anything, including the belief that the Antichrist is the Messiah.
 
Oh must be unbelievers from reading the first chapter. Also says satan does lying signs and wonders. What kind of lying signs and wonders? Would that mean stuff like tv and movies, or ghosts, and appartitions?
 
That entire chapter is talking about the "rapture" of the church. When that happens there will be millions of people missing from planet earth. What ever lie that will be told where these people went will be believed.
 
Here's one example of the lying wonders that will be performed in the Church's absence:

Revelation 13:14-15
And with all the miracles he was allowed to perform on behalf of the first beast, he deceived all the people who belong to this world. He ordered the people to make a great statue of the first beast, who was fatally wounded and then came back to life. 15 He was then permitted to give life to this statue so that it could speak. Then the statue of the beast commanded that anyone refusing to worship it must die.

Clark....isn't it going to be then like it was in Pharaoh's day?????? God hardened his heart!

God forced him into a situation which showed what was already in his heart.

IMO, when people reject the truth of God's Wor they are then left ope for anything else that comes along.

I am one who believes that if a man has heard the gosple message today and rejects the Lord Jesus Christ and then misses the Raptue, he can not be saved after the Rapture.

Rev. 13:12.......
"And he exerciseth all the power of the 1st beast before him, and cause the earth and them which dwell therein to woreship the 1st beast, whose deadly wound was healed".

"Whose wound was healed" tells us that both the 1st and 2nd Beasts of the Tribulation will be healers and miracle workers. That is the big lie and the "strong delusion" that is coming to the world and even NOW the world is being set up to accept such things.

Could be, but because the 2nd Beast causing man to worship the 1st Beast, he is then a religious man, and so then the deception will likely be of a religious nature, fraud, lieing wonders.
 
We can speculate till the cows come home on these things, but because we know the Lord personally, the lying deceitful antics of the enemy will be readily exposed for what they are.
 
Many people into all different kinds of religions. They have spiritual experiences, but they not of God. Thats probably it.

I am thinking specially new age religions, and those disguised as christianity too.
 
I dont think you can be saved after the last day, when the resurrection takes place. Is that what you mean? So if you not saved now as we know Jesus HAS come, and you keep looking for Jesus not realising he already manifested himself, would you be looking for a messiah who is NOT jesus? Or believe someone will come like him, but is not the real Jesus.

We know Jesus by his hands and feet, and also in our minds and hearts and his Word and our testimony.
I suppose its like the mormons believe in a different Jesus to the one in the bible and feel their heart burning or whatever they claim. Its terrible they use The Lords name in vain like that.

Can you explain this?

Revelation 7:13-17
Then one of the twenty-four elders asked me, “Who are these who are clothed in white? Where did they come from?”

14 And I said to him, “Sir, you are the one who knows.”

Then he said to me, “These are the ones who died in the great tribulation. They have washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb and made them white.

15 “That is why they stand in front of God’s throne
and serve him day and night in his Temple.
And he who sits on the throne
will give them shelter.
16 They will never again be hungry or thirsty;
they will never be scorched by the heat of the sun.
17 For the Lamb on the throne
will be their Shepherd.
He will lead them to springs of life-giving water.
And God will wipe every tear from their eyes.”
 
Im sure Jesus will expose those with the brightness of his coming. nobody will be able to stand before the Lord if they had not put their trust in Him. At the last trump.
 
And also another scripture tells us there are those who say Lord Lord, havent we done all these miracles and wonders in your name? And Jesus said that he never knew them cos they practised unrighteousness.

We meant to be clothing the naked, visiting the sick, giving cups of water to the thirsty...that is giving to Jesus and acting like Jesus.

Those who didnt do this ask Him when did you come? They didnt realise Jesus was in these poor ppl. Blessed are the poor. I gues they were expecting an impressive earthly King and miracle worker on demand.

What I am saying is that IF you have heard the gospel today and the Rapture takes place you will not be able to be saved. Once the Rapture removes the church, the say of grace ends.

There will be many saved after the Rapture BUT they will be those who have never been exposed to the gospel, mainly Jews IMO.

That is who is seen in Rev. 7. The way of salvaltion changes AFTER the Rapture and to be saved then means that works will and obedience will be involved instead of totally grace and only grace as it is today.

Sorry your post makes no sense! If you heard the gospel today and repented and believed and it was the last day for you on earth of course you going to be saved. Jesus always saves those who repent and believe cos its only he who can add ppl to his church.
