Journal The Cabin

BTW, the reason I was away over the weekend, my youngest son, Ben, was at the Pennsylvania state awards banquet for the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) Voice of Democracy speech competition. We stayed overnight in Gettysburg and he went on a tour of the battlefields with the other contestants on Saturday morning, followed by the banquet that evening. I still can't believe it, but HE WON!!!!!!! 1st place!!!!!! Wow and wow! Now he gets to go to Washington DC for the national competition. God is Good! Just WOW!

WOW is right.... How AWESOME!!! I bet your buttons were popping... Do people even say that anymore??

I ordered some special slippers so that... IF any creature wants to attack me... it has to guess how many toes I have.
It's got a lifetime guarantee. If anyone is interested in these... I can hook you up.

And with that.... I am BACK. The cabin smells like bleach... I heard that sn**** don't like bleach.

Mr. Moose... I owe you 236 bags. SORRY!!!!

Bwaaaaahahahahahaha

Oh, I kill myself sometimes......hahaha

Does the Cabin have slewage or sleptic?????
SLEWAGE is a special term that GOD gave to me. :D

So for the sake of refreshment and to avoid having to look back to the millions of pages in the Garage.... I will refresh all.

Slew ... an action word that over takes the brain when a puzzle is in the box

Slewing... the long and monotonous process of putting all the jigsaw pieces together

Slewed.... the COMPLETED action of slewing

SLEWAGE... the carcass of a completed puzzle.

Good morning my beautiful forum family.

Well.. It's Thursday...shopping day with Margaret. I hope she's ready for me and any or all situations that may arise whenever we get together. :D

The above video seems to have touched my funny bone so intensely that I am unable to help myself from watching it over and over and over again. It gets funnier... every time I do... so I highly encourage EVERYONE to do the same. I wish there was a way to put it on repeat. HAHAHAHA.

I hope everyone has a beautiful day. I am having a sleep over at Margaret's house on Saturday... and y'all know what that means... I get to sleep with the DOG. :D

Good morning my precious forum family.

Well... It's a busy next frew ( and few even ) days. I am off for lunch today.... and then tomorrow I am off for my sleep-over at Margaret's.

Anyways... I would like to point you all to the BEAUTIFUL image up above. THAT my friends is the birthday card that my Christian sister and I send to each other. We have been doing this for 3 years now. We send the exact same card back and forth to the other and fill it with scripture... and a greeting. Last year... we ran out of space so I added added paper and folded it to make like a little booklet for inside the card.
It's an absolutely HILARIOUS thing to do... and has brought both of us much laughter.... ANYWAYS... this year... It did not arrive for my birthday. We had a Canada Post strike... and so... everything was delayed by several weeks. When my birthday came and went... my friend was crushed that I had not received our beloved card. I told her I would find one with equal worth for her birthday in June.

YESTERDAY..... the mailman brought my card..... OH my GOODNESS..... the JOY.... the absolute JOY... when I saw that little critter with curlers in its hair.

Does anyone else have a silly tradition they do with a friend or in their family???
