Mum's verdict on lockdown takeways - not hot enough
So we got Nando's peri peri chicken one night for dad's birthday ( I liked it, though the chips got kinda of cold)
And yesterday I treated everyone to McDonald's breakfast. Mum complained that the 'hot chocolate' wasn't hot enough, but you are supposed to drink it straight away not leave it sitting.
She reckons they just had food sitting there in the drive through waiting rather than actually cooking it fresh when you order. Maybe, I don't know.
The thing with takeaways is you just have to eat it straight after you bought it, though it might take you a while to drive home.
