Ixoye 8....My Bad Noah was 600 when the Flood came....He was 500 years old when he begot Ham, Shem, and Japheth ( Genesis 5 v 32). Noah lived 350 years after the flood. So he was 950 years old when he died. ( Genesis 9 v 28 & 29) Notice when Ham saw Noah' s nakedness in his tent, Noah put a curse on Cannan the son of Ham, The patriarch of the Arabs...Intersecting especially in today' s world where Arabs despise the Jews ( Children of Japheth...The Jews.

Read what God said before the Flood:
Genesis 6 v 3 " And The Lord said, my spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he is also flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years". After he stated that mankind started living lot less then when God let me Hundreds of years to populate the earth after Eden.
One other interesting verse is when God told Adam the following: Genesis 2 v 17
" But of the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil, though shalt not eat of it: for in the DAY that though eatest thereof thou shalt surely die"
Literally Adam never died the day he sinned. A " Day" to God is 1000 years
( Psalm 90 v 4/I I Peter 3 v 8)
Adam lived until he was 930 years old so he died " In The Day" God promised he would if he sinned.
Who are The Cannanites? They are Arabs/ Muslims. I agree Abraham and Hagar produced ISHMAEL...but the start of this was after the flood. and let us not forget Lot and his daughters after they escaped Sodom and Gomorrah. They committed incest with Lot and had each a son by their Father....One son is A Moabite...The second daughter had a son who is the father of Ammon ( Jordan) Genesis 19 v 31-38.
The Moabites, The Cannanites, The people of Ammon ( Jordan) are all Arabs and Muslims today. When Abraham had Ishmael with Hagar God told Abraham this child would not be the child of the promise ( Israel) however God told him he would make Ishmael a great nation ( Islam)

I doubt that very much. Some of the nearest stars to us have their distances confirmed by parallax measurements.
Look, I'm as open minded as the next man but you must admit that accepting that men lived for 950 years but not accepting modern theories of the universe structure is a bit rich?
Well if that's what the Word says, what else would it mean? Of course I can't comprehend it without faith. Why worry about it? Doesn't change my faith anyway. Our intellect is nothing compared to His!

I never said anything about "young earth creationism".
I also never said anything about being anti science. Not at all. But you CANNOT talk anyone into being Christian. They must be called by the Holy Spirit. We cannot talk someone into "faith" with scientific fact or sensibility. You will NEVER find PROOF. That's why is called FAITH, The Holy Spirit called me, I answered. He loved me first, now I love Him. I repented, He forgave! BEAUTIFUL! Are there things I don't understand? Of course! Does it matter to me? NO! We learn as we grow and ASK HIM FOR WISDOM. If you need proof...
Is it still faith?

Evolution is a fact. We see it happen all the time, right in front of us. The theory of evolution provides a framework that explains how evolution takes place (its mechanisms, pathways, etc.).
Just like gravity is a fact (we see it happen), and the theory of gravity seeks to explain how it happens.
If someone leaves the Faith and devotion unto The creator because of believing some man made beliefs whether proven or not....His/ Her heart was not really in being Christ like. Not saying science has not found out many things and proven them; However many of the things like " Global Warming" are " Theories" where as God knows 100% of why this or that is, or is taking place. Here is what is states, which about sums it all up:
