Hello you and welcome.
As you know in Romans 10:9 the scripture tell us If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
What does being saved mean exactly?

To me, being saved means that God has begun a process of change within me. The old man is being done away and the new is replacing it. Christ in many ways referred to the Kingdom as a far away place that we must travel to. We must be guided on that narrow path with many obstacles (opportunities). God lights the way so that we can see, but we only see a short way along the path. God must continually be there making clear the path ahead. When we turn from the path we stumble having no light to lead us, but fortunately God stays very close to pick us up and repoint us to the path.

ok, well for me this is a really good question.
I think I agree with everyone up above^^
but I also want to say, that I no longer desire the things I used to.
I used to smoke and drink and take drugs and party.
I used to do all those things because I liked it. now I don't.
now I am learning to be at peace with who I am and if others don't accept me that's their problem, and that's ok too.
I am learning to accept some things about myself and my limitations that I didn't like and thought was bad but now I accept. I am beginning to accept others and not expect them to change because I don't like some of the things they do.
I could go on but its I could square it down to being comfortable in my own skin.
Briefly, being saved is being renovated and recreated as opposed to being reformed (qv Rom. 12:2).Hello you and welcome.
