But some beliefs have a negative impact on other people.

Should we not seek the reduction of harm to others?

Where did you even get that idea? beliefs do not have an negative impact on other people. It's the people themselves that make the negative impact, not their beliefs.

Hey nobody on this site was bothering any gay person or nonbeliever (to my knowledge) but I can see that YOU have attempted to insult and harm the believers on this forum... so not sure what point you think your making but it don't pass the commonsense test!

But without that belief the negative impact would never have happened.

So Leviticus is wrong: being LGBT is not a sin. Cool.

Your belief that belief is having a negative impact is having a negative impact on others... See how silly that kind of logic is!

bs, just because christianity thinks being homosexual is wrong doesn't mean homosexual is wrong (this only applies to non believers). There are some christian who accept people who are homosexual. They are not dictating on how other people should live.

That was not the point, what I believe is not harming you unless you force me to tell you the truth and then your going to cry about how I caused you some harm... Yes its a wicked and evil thing...are you happy now?

That just a religion about non-religion!
Huh? A religion requires a belief in supernatural beings. There is nothing in what I said that is supernatural.

In fact, as a skeptic I reject all supernatural claims that are asserted without evidence (which is all of the ones I have seen so far).

Atheist is not a religion. It's just a lack of belief of a god. It is the equivalent of saying saying "not collecting stamps" is a "hobby".

Explain yourself.

You're not making any sense.

The sociological literature is clear.

There are multiple belief systems; but only religions have a belief in supernatural deities.

I was talking about his belief that somes belief can harm others...that's just a belief stystem he has or has made up to justify attacking people for their beliefs.
