I'm also interested Mitspa. Even if it's wasted time, I would like to know what it is that convinces someone that God exists.
I cant make you guys believe.. I would love to be able to get past your doubts and reason the truth in a way that you could understand, but I don't see ANY evidence that either of you are willing to hear the truth? Here I will give you the Gospel...if you have any "honest" questions...I will be glad to answer..

Intelligent design in everything and grasping this realm is limited by the laws of physics where 0+0 does not = 1.
All this is DEAD obvious though. Hence the million dollar question to atheists is WHY the ignorance? I will never take discussion with you seriously. I type only for the reader.

You are referring to the doctrine of "Federal Headship".
Adam is thnatural head of the human race. He is the head of the human family and his one act of disobedience plunged his entire offsprings into sin. We are all MADE sinners by Adam's sin.
Romans 5:12 says........
"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men for that all have sinned".
This means we got our sinful nature from Adam. We are so vitally connected with our first father, Adam that before we even had a human nature, before we had committed a sin, before we were born, we were sinners IN Adam. Adams sin was imputed to us so that what Adam did, we did.
Now......that same doctrine of "Federal Headship" also applies to Christ. God is able through the federal headsip of Christ to save those who will trust in Christ. Christ is the HEAD of a new race which is the redeemed man and the church is his body.
The church is a new creation and Christ is the HEAD of that creation.
Death came by Adam but life comes by Christ. What has all this got to so with the death of an infant?????? BACKGROUND so that the answer will be understandable.
Infants die that have never committed a sinful act because that child belongs to the race of Adam and in Adam, all die. But God did not create man to die. God had something better in store for man and that comes in Christ who is the second Adam and He brings life and life more abundantly. THere is not a lot of Scripture that speaks to this subject but enough for me to believe that ALL infants go to heaven.
The first reason I say that is because I know that the Lord is caring, loving and His will and character IMO does not allow an innocent infant to be damed to torments.
The second reason is from Christ Himself in Matthew 18:2-4...............
"He called a little child and had him stand among them. And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven."
That is a philosophic answer for realville feelings. Helping one does not mean you are not helping another and IMO neither action is rooted in love, but that is just me.
Love does not mean helping others no more than hate means you do not do anything for others.
We, humans help others out of our humanity to see others get out of trouble or situations that could be harmful.
If someone does not help another person, that does not mean they are evil. It can mean they simply do not care but that is not evil, it is apathy at the the least.
We, humans that is........are in one and some in both but not all in both Adam and Jesus.
I stated already somewhere else that it is called FEDERAL HEADSHIP.
ALL humans are IN ADAM because he is the HEAD of the human race. In Christianity, Adam is the first human being therefore everything stems from him. Since ALL people are humn beings, ALL are in Adam.
Christ is the head of a new race, a new redeemed man and the church isHis body, a new creation. The church's one and only foundation is Jesus Christ the Lord of all things and the Creator of all things. ALL are NOT IN Christ. One is "IN" Christ by faith when they believe and accept Christ as Saviour and Lord.
1 Corth. 15:45-47.........

By "Obersvation" my dear friend, we see or hear what they DO or do not.
IF your neighbor tells you that he is a Christian, but every single day he brings his garbage can and dumps it in your front yard, do you, by seeing him do that, understand that what he did was a good thing or was it mean and simply wrong in every way?????
Now......from what you have SEEN, what is your opinion of what he has said he was mean??????? NOTHING!!!!!
If your neighbor tells you that he is a Christian, but every single day you SEE him walk into your back yard and steal tomatoes from your garden. Now, do you believe he is a Christian from what you have SEEN him do to you??????
What now is your opinion of his claim to be a Christian. He is a liar, correct! Does that mean he was never a Christian to believe with?????

The Title of this thread is "Why Did God Lie?". The first recorded instance of Satan is that you lied about God...."you shall not surely die..."
You know very well and to your bitter disappointment and loss, that it is Jesus who saves, not us. Satan you are beyond redemption. The Word of God tells us so.
Are you surprised that your identity is now disclosed? You shouldn't be.....accusing the people of God is your unmistakable trademark.
workmx, our job description is to tell you about Jesus....that has happened throughout your life. The ball is now in your court. If you want salvation, Jesus is the one to turn to...we can not save in the place of Jesus. Think seriously about these things because so far on this thread whether you understand it or not.....you are just Satan's stooge.

Baloou, sir....my I say to you that NOTHING YOU or any other non-believer can do or will do has any effect whatsoever on what the "OLE MAJOR" thinks, posts or comments on. In fact, your use of that "x" inspires me all the more to do what I am committed to do.
I do not do this for any recognition or end result score because I simply do not care. I have absolutely no concern what a lost sinners such as your self would have to say about me or another Christian. God called me to preach and teach the gospel 50 years ago and if you in someway believe that anything YOU can do would deter me, you have another think to consider my friend.
God blessed me with the opportunity to preach and teach and baptize more people than I can remember and now as my days grow longer and my hair grayer, the Lord has allowed me the use of a machine that will continue to spread the gospel message that Jesus SAVES to all parts of the world just boggles my mind.
Personally, I have been in jungles, mountains, swamps and in remote places where a man with a knife would just as soon kill me as talk to me and you somehow think that a big red "x" has some kind of effect on me simply shows how ignorant you are of the capacity of born again Christians who are sold out completely to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 6:13 is especially important to me for I have lived by it now for many years.................

Every born again believer in the Lord Jesus Christ has the capacity and ability to STAND against the ignorance and voracity of any non-believer who come against him. The truth is very, very simple my dear friend......

Accept Jesus Christ and you will gain Everlasting Life! The world nor any other religion can offer it free of works, only faith!
I don't think my mind can allow such things unfortunately. It would be nice to believe in everlasting life but logic negates the possibility for me.
Besides, I wouldn't want to be rubbing shoulders with all the suicidal muslim martyrs (although I'm sure there would be plenty of spare virgins knocking about I suppose).
Muslims wont be in heaven friend. But God's love is still open for you. He wants you to have everlasting peace and life WITH HIM! Just believe in the gospel! Call on him and you will be saved! The offer is open as long as you are alive! His grace will endure to the end!
They vehemently believe they will be there, along with their 72 virgins. Which is the right heaven (or paradise) then?
