I read most of the comments on here and it was like looking at an old photo album. Very interesting to understand that these issues of true DOCTRINE and BELIEFS have gone on for decades/centuries.

Even though the thread is older... it got me thinking about my own supernatural experience... which I STILL after 4 years have not been able to find the proper words for.

If I may... I heard all types of visions and prophesies regarding American politics heading into the 2020 election.... the prophesies continued well after the election was over and the "WRONG guy" got in. There are many names of people who CLAIM to have this gift of prophesy and they are highly televised/video (ized). NOT one of these many "prophets" stood accountable for their WRONG and HERETICAL self-proclaimed annointing. It was all smoke and mirrors.
YET people seem to be willing to give up common sense to HEAR from GOD. It's all a CIRCUS... and it is DANGEROUS. I also believe it can be in the same category as WITCHCRAFT... when carried out severely as was the case during the American election in 2020.

The BIBLE has all the prophesy that is NEEDED. The bible is also filled with DEEP MYSTERIES such as the end times unfolding in Revelation. I understand that people enjoy the CHALLENGE of trying to study the scriptures DEEPLY to try and figure out all the metaphorical meanings... but at BEST.... it's all a GUESS.

Now then ... with the above said... I have heard many stories of a "voice" telling someone NOT to go somewhere... or to go ANOTHER direction.... only to hear that there was a MAJOR accident or disaster that occurred. I call these prodings of the Holy Spirit and they are very real. The HOLY SPIRIT is real... and I do believe He can touch us/speak to us in a great many ways..... however... the audible "hearing" or "seeing" of things is GOD being personal to us.... because He loves us.

I am not going to completely dismiss those who state they had a vision... as it does happen... but VERY RARELY and it is always FOR the GLORY of GOD... and I think most often... it is given to those who just can't seem to GRASP that they are LOVED by HIM.

I do not know anything about dreams... but I believe they categorize dreams and visions as one. I say NOPE. NOT in this day and age.

GOD can do ANYTHING.... and it is HIS GREAT pleasure to LAVISH His children with all good things... which can include supernatural events such as "hearing and seeing" things.... but these occasions are RARE... and I believe they come when NOTHING else can reach that soul.

I am bleeding here for your help, , I have tried to understand why would God love me? Desperate to understand it, and with all my conclusions I end up with the same answerer, I don’t believe that he dose love me, and I want to believe I only in wished I could.

Please pray for me and for people like me that do not understand, please help me I’m desperate.

I went to a cat cafe last week. There was a five year old cat -- a former stray -- who was missing one eye and suffering from ear infections. He tilted his head to the side and was hesitant to approach me.

My heart burst with love and compassion for him. I patiently sat and let him approach me. When he finally did, I pet him and he joyfully purred.

If I, God's creation, can see such beauty in a flawed animal then imagine the beauty God must be able to see in us!

Don't worry about why God loves you. Only accept that he does and do not fear to approach him as he waits for you.

First of all... Please let me state CLEARLY.... that even though I am certain that these words I posted on your thread are TRUE..... I cannot guarantee you a similar experience. I am about to celebrate my 4th year since my supernatural experience at the lake... and I am still nowhere closer to understanding the WHY of it than I was when it first happened.

What happened to me is NOT the norm... and I need to make that my FIRST and FOREMOST statement to you. I am not here to TEACH you how to RECEIVE your miracle. It did not work like that with me.

I do however have GOOD NEWS for you.... I will GLADLY share some little tips and tricks ( if you will ) on how to position yourself in such a way where you will come to LEARN ... your TRUE IDENTITY. It is by KNOWING WHO you are in CHRIST that satan will flee from you. As you allow these TRUTHS to permeate your being... you will begin to RISE up and understand that WHO you are in CHRIST ( What the bible says about your IDENTITY in CHRIST) is ACTUALLY the TRUTH.

Satan does NOT want you to know who you are in CHRIST... .because this is the ULTIMATE weapon to defeat his ferocious whispers that you are NOT WORTHY... NOT GOOD.... NOT LOVED... NOT WORTH IT.... or even... that GOD did not mean YOU... He doesn't care about YOU... He doesn't want YOU.... He is not intimately even AVAILABLE... and especially NOT for YOU or to YOU.

What you wrote holds true today after 4 years ago. I / we have ("seen" "read") your testimonies of transformation in Christ since you joined 1 year and 7 months ago. Praise God!

At times we cannot explain happenings in our lives but I believe when we develop a strong faith in God, He will reveal His message or reason. Your relationship with Jesus has been a good witness to us all.

I remember wanting to bail out of the forums about twice a week at first.... and then it moved onto about once a week.

You and many others have LOVED me into FEELING like I am part of something... and that is precious to me... not to mention a FIRST.

I know I still have ISSUES with TRUST.... I know that my first reaction is still some times to SHUT DOWN and BOLT... but I do feel that I have
made progress.
