When Christ is in control, you "I" are not suppose to be. Anytime you say "I" that is not Christ
Not anytime.

Right..when you boast in your ability to keep the law, your boasting is based upon pride and "all such boasting is evil" you'll get this eventuallyNow your getting it, right, those who under the law are not in faith!!! You seem to be missing the the problem. When Christ is in control, you "I" are not suppose to be. Anytime you say "I" that is not Christ
Right, those who boast in the law are in the flesh..ego..."I"The "I" can only be under the law, because it is not of faith.

Yes the battle is between "you" and Christ..and He is right..The battle here is between Christ, and the "I". Who do suppose is right?
No am not..Im talking about the Love of God working in me to work what is right. Its those who boast in the law that boast in their own ability. You are still not getting it. You are talking about "I" lying to save a life which is you doing the work and not Christ
Ro 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. Rahab

Sorry God works in a believer through love not through legalism. Legalism is self-righteous ability. How can you justify the "I" lying to save a life and having faith in Christ. It is either you doing the work or Christ not both.
there is not such a thing as lying by faith
Right..now your getting it...we are not under the law we are under the commandment of Christ to love and save life.Again, anytime you have the "I" doing anything that work is under the law, which is not of faith.

That's what the scripture call those who "boast" in their ability to keep the written code of the law! Not those who walk in love.Boasting in your ability is exactly what you are saying!!!! Christians never boast in their abilities.
Right the "love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, and a believer acts in accordance with that love.Again, you can not love unless Christ is in control not you.
