LOl! I am laughing my head off! Why, you ask?
Just when we all thought that Bondman was going to throw in the towel (even HE thought his messages were done and over with!), just when we thought that no more could be done....

God reaches in and does the impossible! God strengthened him enough to write the above message and the others to come.
This is all being done with God's strength, none of it is Bondmans. So give glory to God that the messages are still getting out. That God uses even this weakened vessel to prove that He is mightier and more powerful than the god of this world. When we are willing to be used of Him, He steps in and does wonderful, miraculous things!

Let this encourage your hearts, brothers and sisters, that God is THERE! And He can use even you!
Bless you, Bondman, for being such a willing and obedient servant, to allow God to work miracles thru you. :groupray:

Yes, Fluff, it is quite amusing isn't it?

BM, I'm glad you posted that because the world is beginning to look less and less attractive to me. I never read the adds that come with the paper anymore because I realize I don't have a desire to buy more of anything. I have all the clothes I need and even garage sales don't attract me now. Such little things, but I can see that my only real attraction is things of spiritual nature. I see more souls who need Jesus than ever before and want to reach out to them. I am getting bolder than ever and can't wait until I can feel the Holy Spirit's command to speak. If He has not prepared their heart for Him to speak through me, than it will be wasted to do it on my own. But I do have a burning desire to reach out to the lost, as I used to be.

It would be soooooo cool if my husband were in that same place as I am right now. I just ache when he talks of spending money for a trip because I would rather spend it on a mission trip. Just pray that it will come up sometime that we could go on one and he could have his trip and I my mission. Right now I'm just in training and getting anxious to "fly!" Have you ever heard that song, "I'm Ready to Fly?"

It's indeed a more exciting life than anyone in the world is enjoying. Why live for the moment, when you can live for the movement? The moving of the Holy Spirit in our lives! Hugz, Sweets

Wow! Great messages.

I was at the local mall on Sat to take my daughter school clothes shopping. My mother was with us. My mom and sat on a bench while my daughter browsed through some of the stores.

My mother stated she could not get over the clothes now adays. She stated that it is getting harder and harder to find a top that is not V necked or scooped for a young gal. She said the temptations for people now adays with the clothes is unbelievable.

I myself thought as I walked down the mall to meet my mom and daughter how the world is getting with the worldly things. The enticements are unbelievable! It made me really look at where I had been and where I am now. Oh yes the enemy was trying to attack big time, especially with the clothes and all. I looked at my reflection a few times throughout the day and the enemy was trying very hard to say.. you are not pretty and yes you are still fat! I rebuked him! I visted my mom's neighbor, a single gal who had just redone her home. Everything was bright and pink, it was really pretty. I thought to myself, what is she doing for the Lord? nothing.. plain and simple nothing. It brought to my mind, my simple home, that is not "decorated". However, my simple home has a love for the Lord in it. Currently, I give faithfully of my money within a local church for programs that are run for recovery programs where people can be led and realize that Jesus can set them free from all.

This whole worldly thing really got to me this past week-end and this was before I read the posts. This is a new week- may I go forth and do the Lord's work!

Hey, no picking on Bondman, you guys!!! ;)

Actually I'm laughing at you for laughing at me, cos y'know how 'one good turn deserves another'! *hehe*

And actually again, I have to sort out my great mate Fluffy on a couple of her statements.

First, I doubt I can remember once in my adult life where I've ever thrown in the towel. This is simply not in my nature. I'm a doer and achiever who never gives up.

Second, I'm not sure I thought my message days were finished so much as seeing that my health demanded that I simmer down (and still does). Even if I did think 'that was the end', in God's economy no door can ever been seen as irrevocably closed - and that is ALWAYS in the back of my mind. He has this amazing habit of changing this round, and shifting that - without us noticing - and next minute you're back in the saddle, with your head spinning at what just happened!! *love it!!*

But my dearest Fluf, all that you wrote about God doing the impossible was totally, TOTALLY spot-on! He is the Mostest and He is the Bestest - BAR NONE!!!

And I am SO UNBELIEVABLY BLESSED having a wonderful friend like you, along with all the others here, where HIS LOVE IS MANIFEST all the times! Hallelujah to His blessed Name!!

What a wonderful post! Glory to You, our Lord and Master!! YOU are the life-changer. YOU are the miracle-worker. YOUR Spirit moves us, guides us, opens our eyes, shows us the truth, gives us power to change - bringing us closer and closer to YOU!!

I'm not going to comment on anything you wrote, hon. Anyone who didn't read it, please do - and be blessed as I have been!

Worshipper, WOW-EE!! Love the verses on God's mighty hand!! Indeed and indeed!

You're right, the church has allowed the world in just as we have in our personal lives. But you said it about us living HAND to MOUTH: FROM GOD'S HANDS TO OUR MOUTH!!! (Did I say WOW-EE!!)

Are we gonna TRUST Him as God - as OUR God - and work to releasing ourselves from the grip the world has on us? "I pray for every soul here in The Inner Room my blessed Lord, that many will join those who've already started towards moving into KINGDOM territory, OUT of satan's! We can do this, we CAN! - with Your help!!"

Love in Jesus to you and hubby (praying),

Wow, great response post! Yes, it's all about what comes first and foremost, isn't it? The Lord and His presence - OR worldly stuff. And I just 'love' the way the evil one will put stuff into our heads like he did to you - but ya dun good an' right, hon, by sending him packing!!

He has no place in our lives whatsoever! He's had quite long enough keeping us tied in to the world and it's ways and values - all UNGODLY! We are now BREAKING OUT! We can become a small (but POWERFUL) army of those out to reach the world for our Lord Jesus!!

JESUS LAST MAJOR COMMAND (which we've basically ignored)

Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Mark 16:15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

I've long wondered what it is about:

"Go out into ALL the world,
to ALL the nations,
preaching the Gospel to EVERYONE,
and teaching them ALL of my commands!!"

that the church doesn't understand..............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But PLEASE WAIT for Part 3 so I may explain HOW we can ALL do this today! (sound a bit intriguing?) I think you may then start to catch some of the excitement we have about this!!

- BM

Ok, so my metaphor of throwing the towel was inaccurate. I'll own it, I was wrong. :D But it was my impression, Bondman, that you were thinking you couldnt do it anymore. That there was no more strength to continue doing messages, and therefore wasnt going to do any more messages, was only going to fellowship on the thread.
So when I read your latest, well, I just got so tickled at seeing God working again, and I couldnt resist! ha!:D

Mark 16:15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

So I am on my knees this morning, praising and thanking him for being here today and ask him to use me in his way. and shine light on others and encourage them and ask him to put people in my life to uplift me and encourage me.

So at 8:15 am, I go to my first meeting in the Operating Room, the first hour was spent talking about God, the OR manager was really stressed and I asked her what her faith was like.. that opened it up and we kept on talking and I took her hands and prayed with her before I left.. on the way out of there, stopped for a cup of coffee, saw a woman I knew coming out of the coffee shop with shoulders slumped over.. knew she needed the Word! .. chatted, and put my arm around her and prayed with her.

At 11:15 stop by local deli before lunch at the counter checking out and there was this gentleman scratching lottery tickets. I said whew it is Monday.. and it is going to be a fantastic week.. and if any of us get week, may we remember the Lord's word from Philipians . I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me.. the man looked at me and said yes we can.. but I am telling you.. we can hear all the great messages, read the great word, but if we are not living it each and every day it is all useless.. he shared that he had alot of finanical difficulty and had huge debt that he did not believe in bankruptcy.. he said the Lord spoke to him for early retirement. He worked for Verizon for 20 years. He took his retirement, paid the bills, helped his daughter who is going to vet school. I said so what does the Lord having you do now? He said looking for a job! He said the bills are piling, but I know he will provide.. I said yes he will provide for your daily needs, not our wants, but our needs. We had fantastic conversation! as we walked out into the parking lot, he said I enjoyed meeting you, I hope to see you again.. (now mind you the "old" Robin would have raced, got pen and pencil and handed him my cell phone number..lol! omg.. busting here! )..

Then as I was cleaning my house up tonight putting things away from being away, I picked up a towel that one of my family members had bought for everyone at the family reunion.. it was this thick beach towel that they had embroidered on it.. Beach Blast 08.. I thought what a waste.. they could have taken that money, sent it to a charity, had a nice pic of the charity at the reunion or something. .
just as I did this past Christmas.. instead of spending tons of stocking stuffers, I sent money to India for children, got a pic back of the kids.. sat down Christmas morning and explained to my kids that instead of stocking stuffers, this is what I did.. they thought it was really cool!

Yes .. the worldy stuff has got to go.. man we would all be alot less stressed.. I am going to be working on that..

I am going to be more thankful for the things I have, but more importantly for God's love, mercy and grace.

Praise the Lord for he is good!

Faithwoman

and oh yeah.. praise the Lord.. I found my daughter's birth certificate.. which I tore my house up looking for.. and at the end I found it in a folder at work! honestly.. it really made me think of all this "stuff.. ".. and yes it is a dark, evil world we live in..

May we all help it be more shining bright! Each day he places people in front of us.. for us to encourage and for them to encourage us back as well.. most of all the Lord encourages each day if we just turn to him..

Hugs to all

:):)

Second Death

Revelation 21: 6-8
6He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7 He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son. 8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

Ok, so I was watching that video series again tonite. It talked about death. The death of sin, the death of man. It was an awesome video.

It spoke of the above scripture. It had vivid images and words of the Lake of Fire. I mean really! Like, I thought, people have just got to wake up.
We have a choice! Notice he says he who overcomes will inherit all the good things. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, etc.. their place will be in the lake of fire.

I mean really? Where do you want to be? Where do you want your friends, family members, coworkers etc to be? Do you want them with you in heaven? More importantly , do you yourself want to be in heaven for eternal life? Have you really given all of yourself to the Lord Jesus Christ, or are you continuing in the "mamby pamby" walk, better yet, are you walking at all in God's love, mercy and grace?

I am telling you, this video just touched my heart. It really made me want to call a few of my friends who are teetering on the fence of their faith.
Believe you me, I am not innocent of the teetering of faith, but as each day goes by, I am praying for the Lord to make me stronger.

Have a blessed day

Faithwoman:)

Perishing

Ok, so I am on a roll tonite.

Luke 13
Repent or Perish

1 Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. 2 Jesus answered, "Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? 3 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. 4 Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish."

I have heard of the word repent, I have learned of the word repent, but was led to this scripture this evening. If we do not repent, we will perish.
I sat here and thought of those things that I struggle with, by continuing to do any of them, I am persishing. I want to live.

Lord, heavenly father, I praise and thank you for showing me so much this evening. You are an awesome God! I ask for more wisdom and guidance. Please continue to bless the Inner Room, the Forum and all those who come here to continue to learn of you.

Amen

Ok, so my metaphor of throwing the towel was inaccurate. I'll own it, I was wrong. :D But it was my impression, Bondman, that you were thinking you couldnt do it anymore. That there was no more strength to continue doing messages, and therefore wasnt going to do any more messages, was only going to fellowship on the thread.
So when I read your latest, well, I just got so tickled at seeing God working again, and I couldnt resist! ha!:D

Fluffy, you're allowed to get tickled at seeing God at work!!! I think that's so ovely!!

Stopping trying to write Messages just about every day actually allowed my energy levels to slowly improve a little - which was part of the object of the exercise - which means that I can write a Message from time to time as I feel the Lord's promptings.

The wrong impression you got is easy enough to happen, hon! The written word is a very difficult medium to use for a relationship. It is SO easy to get the wrong impression, the wrong idea - and so easy to CONVEY the wrong impression without meaning to. That's why we use smileys, to try and help this problem.

And it is for this reason that I spend many many hours on every Message: I want it in the "best possible shape" so that it conveys what I want it to (and what the Lord wants it to). The empheses I use are way over the top (and many forums would not even allow me to use them!) but they are also there to try and MAKE CLEAR what I'm trying to get across.

I know I'm VERY blessed indeed to have been given a gift of written expression from the Lord (I also have a verbal expression gift, and I'm told it's fairly rare to have both of these). In the IR it's 100% my aim to use that gift of writing for my Master - and for you guys who are kind enough to read my ramblings.

Faithwoman, you sure were on a roll. Way to go! Those of us who don't have an evangelism gift could get mighty envious of you and the marvellous way you get to talk to people, share, pray, and so on. WONDERFUL!!

Your wrote about repenting. So important! This will sound funny, but proves how we are always growing and learning if that's a life-goal. Only a day or two ago I said or did something that I immediately felt was wrong. I was in the middle of prayer I think, and I just immediately said, "Sorry!" I never use that word lightly and it was most heartfelt - SO I HAD JUST REPENTED! And it's actually as easy as that! If you say Sorry to the Lord and mean it, and part of the sorry is that you would never want to do that again - hey, that's what repenting is!!! And the utter SIMPLICITY of what I'd just done was really something!

You wrote about hell. All you said was most pertinent. People are taking this FAR TOO LIGHTLY. Unless we're utterly CERTAIN we're not going there, who would be foolish enough to take a RISK with HELL?!!! Hmm... lots of folks it seems!! How unbelievably horrendous to consider...

Far worse to me, however, is the countless millions of dear souls in Asia, the Middle East, and Northern Africa WHO HAVE NEVER HEARD THE GOSPEL EVEN ONCE - and so have never had the opportunity to repent and accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour. NEVER... HAD... A... CHANCE... THAT'S WRONG!!!!!

But GREAT NEWS! - every one who'd like to can SO EASILY help change this! Exciting stuff!! (see next Message/s - coming soon as I can.)

Doin' great, hon! With love,

- BM

Today a totally unexpected and quite "impossible" answer presented itself that should (stressed) be able to solve this terrible problem. Our day became SO hectic with it all that we really could not cope and are utterly zonked tonight - but it's a 'good' zonked!!!

GOD IS GOOD! GOD ANSWERS PRAYER!! YOU PEOPLE HERE SURE CAN PRAY UP A STORM!!!

THANKYOU from the bottom of our hearts and minds and spirits!!!! I'll continue to keep you posted - stress will be ongoing next week, and maybe past that, before this can all be over. Much love from us both!!

- BM

I promised to keep you up to date. So far this is all working!! WOW!!! That's kinda hard to take in when something serious and legal has been hanging over your head for about 7 years.

We have a lot to do each day on all the myriad things that require our attention, some of it VERY stressful indeed. But we're coping (tho I've had a really bad day today). Beloved is doing a marvellous job with it all, and I'm SO proud of her!

In maybe two weeks or so from now we could be finally FREE of this thing forever! Bring it on, Lord!!!

Thankyou SO MUCH for standing with us! The Lord God is our VICTORY!!!
