Alphabet Soup Garden Varieties

The Lord is always watching over me. My computer caught on fire today. Good thing it was on my desk, and I moved my papers cause I'm a clean freak. Been shook up all day as I lost one home to fire while on vaca. God is good😇
 
can't type well on this fire
as my thoughts did expire
gotta get a new device
to toss words like dice
auto correct is a pain
for which I have disdain
but I do have good news
of a phone interview!
even tho that don't rhyme

These last weeks, our prayers for your next job have been sprinkled with perseverance. May God bless the employer who calls you and may He bless you with the words upon your lips during your phone interview! And may I add, that God is orchestrating your next employer and you for His glory!

mysteries of the unknown
those unassisted questions
that dangle inside an itchy ear
awaiting a gentle cotton swab

to come along with an answer
never seen to get deep enough
out of fear of finding hard truths
in the most unexpected places

thank you Father for guiding me
on these treacherous journeys
as I do dig as much as needed
to find Christ there watching...

My cousins daughter was born with a heart defect, and had surgery at birth. She is now 13? and is having another open heart surgery on the 20th. Please keep Bella in your prayers, as she undergoes this difficult proceedure. Thank you our Father in heaven for your grace love kindness compassion glory and mercy always, in the name of his Son Jesus Christ. Amen.

We all have missed you! and thank you for your prayer request.

I'll add Bella, her family and you in our time of prayer during Worship Service today for her open heart surgery (along with the doctors and nurses) on November 20th.

God bless you, my sister, your family and Bella.
 
When it rains it pours as the saying goes. My youngest is facing yet another major life tribulation. Her ankle has not healed. After her another MRI and constant fighting for health care, they have discovered a major infection in her bone where they placed the original screw/anchors. Now infectious disease specialists will have to perform the surgery. They can see bone loss, and it may have a systemic infection which is life threatening. The young woman, my loved daughter has suffered so much in this life already. Please keep her in your prayers as she will endure this emergency surgery alone due to covid. We won't be able to even hold her hand.

I see the white
of love in the heavens
twinkling bright
like long lost friends

singing down to me
I can try to hear
the melodies i see
inside my heart so dear

they comfort me now
those gifts of light
with hope of how
God makes everything right

so I pray dear Father in the name of your Son
Jesus Christ knowing your will shall be done
as I know you hear me on this day
Please heal my baby if you may...

We haven't stopped praying for God's healing of your daughter's ankle and hope the appointment with her doctor will have some positive news for treating her.

Is your job seasonal?

I received unexpected and sad setbacks this week. At Sunday's ZOOM worship service I preached about Mary in Luke 1 and Hannah in 1 Samuel. These women of God spoke to me and I immediately took the matter at hand and prayed behind closed doors. I'm cannot control my extreme circumstances but felt this relief that it's the Lord's ultimate sovereignty over all the affairs in my life.

In Alphabet and Soup Garden Varieties for November 23rd reminded me of the Magnificat; Mary and Hannah's Poem had to endure the events in their lives, yet took the time to be thankful for the way God blessed them.

Hang in there, sister. God bless you, your family and Merry Christmas.

My job is not seasonal. Home health is here helping my daughter with injections.
Being she is an M.A. and phlebotomy certified, they are training her to administer them herself.
