After having a disturbing internet conversation, I simply wish to remind others to behave as the Christians we are.
Our posts and reactions are read by others. We are an example, and traffic on this thread alone has taken a hit.

Thank y'all for the prayers. Im taking a poetry break for a while.

one breath one tear at a time
one smile one joy sublime,

two steps might be much I know
two thoughts I might keep in tow,

three minutes are long today
three verses I try to say,

four seasons they come and pass
four directions yes alas,

five couplets here they will be
five of them I read to me~

Those of us who have taken five steps at a time find it more comfortable to take one at a time.

we may not be perfect but we are His
as humans made special and amazing,
our test in this life is but a quiz
so thankful praises with gladness I sing,

everything in heaven is His perfect
He gave the greatest gift from up above,
washed white clean without any sin defect
with the blood of His Son given with love~

sitting quiet in my room I feel free
a place in reflection of tranquility,

with our Father together Im me
where there is nothing else I have to be,

simple solitude relaxing away
letting go of my many thoughts today,

talking with Him serenely I do pray
releasing my concerns and let them lay,

for listening our Father thank you
in the name of your Son for all you do,

for eternal love from gentile to jew
and the hope of heaven a body new~

in my closet I have some special clothes
they were a free gift given by the lamb,
I remember to wear them clean daily
washed white as snow forgiven I am,

Christ Jesus made them for all us sinners
girt with truth and a righteous breastplate,
the gospel of peace and a shield of faith
with salvations helmet we know our fate,

might we walk a mindful path of peace
firm upon His foundation we shall stand,
with compassion grace mercy kindness love
as though woven together hand in hand,

lets remember one another in prayer
knowing all things are in the will of Him
everything on earth comes to pass away
and eternal life comes from faith in Him~

might we glean from words of the saints
and reap the reward found therein
whom reach for divine inspirations
from the holy scriptures written

might we find great spiritual success
united in one body as prayer warriors
fighting a good and holy fight
victorious with the virtues of love

might we harvest together
in greater cooperation of strength
for our diverse skills and resources
reinforce our collective fabric

might we remain thankful always
in communication and empathy
patient and forgiving as an example
to ourselves and unto others

might our labors be consecutive
in honor kindness compassion
served warmly with honest integrity
the message of Jesus Christ our lord

might we work diligently in one accord
for the salvation of lost souls
which have a choice to choose life
and escape eternal damnation

I had a dream, a little dream
for a little while
and it made me smile
from inside my heart

everything I wanted was within reach
the peace of it made me feel whole
for in this world we are broken sinners
imprisoned by our bodies made from flesh

my spirit wanted to fall to earth
instead it was turned into a bird

it decided to fly homeward bound
and found a nesting place made special
other mansions littered the skies
but this humble small place was mine

inside I felt love like never before
I thought maybe this is what heaven will be like

and in my dream,
I did dream a little while
cradled within it like I was in His nest
to slumber in pure peaceful delight

Everyone has their own writing style. I share my inner most thoughts and feelings on the fly.
Sometimes its from spiritual intuitions, other times words come from my gut.
I find if I have to think about it I cant write. Its just something I do.

no major excavations as of yet
nor digging into any flowerbed
will a seed on the surface grow
enjoying the fresh air and sunshine
waiting for a watering can to appear
and a small garden shovel to notice
that it has an innate deep desire
to be growing into a creation
that it was originally intended
or shall it wither away in the heat
of a moment all too quickly
forgotten and discarded
among weeds to be plucked away
might it find a life in happiness
blossoming as a cherished plant
firm in its foundations well attended
for just maybe it wants to spring forth

everlasting hope is truly beautiful
it endures as a testimony of great faith
as a treasure cherished and remembered
it is the one and only thing to count on
for in this world integrity is rare
there are those of false countenance
unscrupulous and duplicitous
full of conceit envy strife wrath
of which I try to avoid with diligence
however the world breaks our barriers
as we are forced to recall the simple
We Are The Children Of God
in the name of His Son Jesus Christ
and nothing can separate us
from that great hope
and our Father in Heaven
will remember those whom try
for His day of reckoning
His day of judgement shall come

maybe life is like a maze full of many mirrors
sometimes we choose to see ourselves on the outside

until the reflections created make another view
one which includes great introspection

as a multitude of images flood our thoughts
may we retrace our steps ever so diligently

carefully thoughtfully without recklessness
for our own illusions and deceptions are not refracted

back to us upon these sheets of crafted glass
but are from our own deepest fears and anxieties

then we can truly take solace in our own self understanding
as to what our inner most secure knowledge about us is

we cannot blame others for what we choose to see or share
these things are solely from our own self perceptions

with valor discretion and even timing all can avoid
the futile effort of remaining hidden from themselves

and discover their own painful or confusing desires
that help us grow and move forward on this journey

of personal self discovery for nothing is ever what it seems
until we view it from the inside out~

I had a very special date planned
complete with a soft blanket in the yard
some tree branches papers and debris
carefully placed inside that brick fire pit
fluffy feather pillows pre-arranged
with quite a spectacular view

and I waited, and waited some more

as the sun withered its rays away
from oranges into purple periwinkle hues
there was the moment I anticipated
Mr Man on the Moon was hugging the sky
from the horizon line he waved hello
just like he was there only for me

my wait was over! he came to see me!

in glorious fashion my beautiful blue moon
arrived as if in an ancient chariot roaring along
big bold bright and magnificent in his majesty
as he adorned the stars with I am here now!
and threw his luminous glow upon my cheek
like a kiss from a long lost soldier of the night

life brings us to places we thought we would never go
kinda like getting stuck in the mud at Burning Man
or finding the perfect beach and falling asleep
to awake fried to a red crispy over done on one side
it how we choose to respond in these situations
that determine our character and whether we have any
we can only define ourselves when we know ourselves
and may that light of the Lord shine brightly in us
no matter where we are or what we decide to do
we are girt with armor especially when its not in style...

we went out to dinner tonight
beef yaki udon with a big yum
no leftovers for tomorrow
for it was absolutely terrific
it got me to thinking
because we are so full
completely gluttonous
as Americans we take for granted
the abundance of food
if only everyone had
that kind of desire
that kind of anticipation
that kind of satisfaction
with studying the bible
what a very different world
this would be
for God so loved the world
he gave His only begotten Son
that whosoever believes in Him
shall have everlasting life
and that is what we need
to fill ourselves with
