one breath one tear at a time
one smile one joy sublime,
two steps might be much I know
two thoughts I might keep in tow,
three minutes are long today
three verses I try to say,
four seasons they come and pass
four directions yes alas,
five couplets here they will be
five of them I read to me~

We missed you, sister.
Those of us who have taken five steps at a time find it more comfortable to take one at a time.

we may not be perfect but we are His
as humans made special and amazing,
our test in this life is but a quiz
so thankful praises with gladness I sing,
everything in heaven is His perfect
He gave the greatest gift from up above,
washed white clean without any sin defect
with the blood of His Son given with love~
(sometimes short and sweet works for me)

sitting quiet in my room I feel free
a place in reflection of tranquility,
with our Father together Im me
where there is nothing else I have to be,
simple solitude relaxing away
letting go of my many thoughts today,
talking with Him serenely I do pray
releasing my concerns and let them lay,
for listening our Father thank you
in the name of your Son for all you do,
for eternal love from gentile to jew
and the hope of heaven a body new~
a place in reflection of tranquility,
with our Father together Im me
where there is nothing else I have to be,
simple solitude relaxing away
letting go of my many thoughts today,
talking with Him serenely I do pray

in my closet I have some special clothes
they were a free gift given by the lamb,
I remember to wear them clean daily
washed white as snow forgiven I am,
Christ Jesus made them for all us sinners
girt with truth and a righteous breastplate,
the gospel of peace and a shield of faith
with salvations helmet we know our fate,
might we walk a mindful path of peace
firm upon His foundation we shall stand,
with compassion grace mercy kindness love
as though woven together hand in hand,
lets remember one another in prayer
knowing all things are in the will of Him
everything on earth comes to pass away
and eternal life comes from faith in Him~

fighting a good and holy fight
victorious with the virtues of love
might we harvest together

I had a dream, a little dream
for a little while
and it made me smile
from inside my heart
everything I wanted was within reach
the peace of it made me feel whole
for in this world we are broken sinners
imprisoned by our bodies made from flesh
my spirit wanted to fall to earth
instead it was turned into a bird
it decided to fly homeward bound
and found a nesting place made special
other mansions littered the skies
but this humble small place was mine
inside I felt love like never before
I thought maybe this is what heaven will be like
and in my dream,
I did dream a little while
cradled within it like I was in His nest
to slumber in pure peaceful delight
for a little while
and it made me smile
from inside my heart

no major excavations as of yet
nor digging into any flowerbed
will a seed on the surface grow
enjoying the fresh air and sunshine
waiting for a watering can to appear
and a small garden shovel to notice
that it has an innate deep desire
to be growing into a creation
that it was originally intended
or shall it wither away in the heat
of a moment all too quickly
forgotten and discarded
among weeds to be plucked away
might it find a life in happiness
blossoming as a cherished plant
firm in its foundations well attended
for just maybe it wants to spring forth

I had a very special date planned
complete with a soft blanket in the yard
some tree branches papers and debris
carefully placed inside that brick fire pit
fluffy feather pillows pre-arranged
with quite a spectacular view
and I waited, and waited some more
as the sun withered its rays away
from oranges into purple periwinkle hues
there was the moment I anticipated
Mr Man on the Moon was hugging the sky
from the horizon line he waved hello
just like he was there only for me
my wait was over! he came to see me!
in glorious fashion my beautiful blue moon
arrived as if in an ancient chariot roaring along
big bold bright and magnificent in his majesty
as he adorned the stars with I am here now!
and threw his luminous glow upon my cheek
like a kiss from a long lost soldier of the night

among the darkest hues
of mysterious evenings
which call out to me
like long lost relations returned
almost like soldiers
from the battlefields of daylight
alas, they too find solace
in the lowest of available lumens
therefore I feel I can quench
my thirst with their magic
as I breathe eat listen and see
this night before me
and bathe in pure peaceful happiness
of existence
oblivious to the makings
of mankind's madness
alas, I do believe we are made
from the same things
we are all created by God...
