Alphabet Soup Garden Varieties

Im walking on the concrete of Gods word
sometimes man has a jack hammer in hand,

many think this foundation is absurd
especially when on my face I land,

but He picks me up and sets me straight
knowing perfect I can never become,

compassionate loving mercy is great
undeserving his forgiveness I hum,

with thanksgiving might I rejoice always
giving all my love in return through praise~
 
his forgiveness is a song in my soul which wishes to play
the most precious of soothing symphonies through nature
like the birds chirping as the wind rustles through trees
sweetest slapping of a calm sea upon broken shell shorelines
or brunt orange into pinks into purples caressing the skies
with Gods own paint brush in hand saying hello I love you
Hello I love you Father in the name of your Son Jesus Christ
thank you with all my heart soul and being with every breath
for eternal salvation and the peace knowing a place
has been prepared for me~ how glorious and precious a gift!
may my heart hum songs only you can hear in thanksgiving
your child forever~ M
 
we are a wicked nation with burdens
sin is a disease which consumes all men,
fill my heart with forgiveness from heaven
so it might spread like ink inside my pen,

teach lesson of compassion everyday
so my thoughts reflect them when I pray,
being kind to others with what I say
remembering your love Father always~
 
just another mid spring eve clicking away
like pages forming a sketched motion movie
deep inside my brain someplace special
where I keep my most favorite memories
in a cool calm patient place with a full moon
and breezy comforting freshness of scented air

stillness of life all but my own breathing heart
reminding me to quench the days exhaustion
with nothing more and nothing less than slumber
upon a pillow haven carefully constructed with love
thankful for the closing of my day awaiting another
resting in the hands of our Father in heaven~ Amen.
 
feather me now light in the wind floating
to land calmly down upon wet green blades,
reaching boldly into the warm sunrise
as the spring evening darkness soon fades,

blow blow sweet fragrances over blossoms
gathered with pollen dusting everything,
carry your perfumes through open windows
as the daytime melodies softly sing,

whisper wise ancient sayings through oak trees
magical marvelous old creations,
that only animals can decipher
when they listen for a short duration,

may your cool breeze of freshness renew me
through the spirit I hear echo inside,
reminding me we are all from the heavens
on borrowed time during this earthly ride,

might I be careful with my intention
as the air washes over like a wave,
thankful to our Lord for the reprieve
from the days heat in this shade I do save,

as little pearls of mist evaporate
the morning dew fading into sunshine,
and nature grows forth letting me observe
details my heart wishes to find divine~
 
washed upon the sand battered many times
from dark depths storms rain swells icy wind shine,
I survive polished by grains of fine sand
hoping chosen special to become thine,

my bright swirling rainbows of pearl essence
may be hidden underneath but still found,
upon baking summer sand ocean shores
before raging waves break me as they pound,

come for a stroll with a plastic bucket
might my colorful stripes please thee greatly,
home to a place where there are other shells
not just like me but ones you found lately,

as I cry aloud pick me pick me yes
these ridges with scalloped edges do glow,
look how beautiful I am waiting here
for a spot in a glass bowl dont say no,

and then you picked me up now I rest well
washed clean with all of my best friends ever,
as we share many old battle stories
thankful we were the ones pretty clever~
 
I have photographs of heaven written
in an old book I read called the bible,
when captured by this world and been bitten
by mans rituals that seem so tribal,
I remember scripture tattooed inside
with the blood of Jesus by Gods own sword,
in my heart where it shall always abide
I am in a body of one accord,
His children our Father loves and knows
he hears prayers in the name of his Son,
as deep within his faith seed planted grows
with compassion His great will shall be done,
and I'll rest through his kind mercy one day
when Jesus Christ comes and I fly away~

Life can be good, sweet, bad, and ugly. Through it all I rejoice is the Lord always, as I rest knowing I am His. Amen.
 
Our Father Supreme
has gifted us with many qualities
being human
we have all been created differently
each with his or her own
unique set of skills
talents that rise above
to shape our personalities
individualism molded
before the womb
what a beautiful
extremely glorious thing
to be different from everyone else!
its like a surprise
is born with every soul
our personal passions that shine
how we accept failures
show mercy kindness and love
from our self confidence
to all the tears we shed in a lifetime
Our Father in the name of his Son
Jesus Christ knew them all
how miraculous indeed
to stand outside of time
to be able look inside
and understanding everything
He said I am Alpha and Omega
beginning to ending
so completely balanced
in organization we cannot
begin to comprehend
designed through chemistry
and mathematics
in a perfect sequence
to become the body of Christ
we belong to today
full of amazing wonder
in a complete spectrum of color
might we use
our gifted distinctiveness
to praise our Father and rejoice
in the way He made us to be
to always be ready
with courage in the sword of the truth
armed with compassion
blessed through his love
just the way He created us
and simply be ourselves
in a world that wants us
to be like everyone else~

we are a society killing itself
with too many choices
when we should all
be making the one
that matters the most
and in the process
of consumer consumption
we corrupt the truth
so pure and liberating
that only a few
are left to actually
believe in something
so simplistic
it confounds the wise
and those at ease
think its a tall tale
but I have faith
even if it is small
like a mustard seed
it has been planted
on a solid foundation
watered by the shed blood
of Jesus Christ
and I am saved by grace

Its cool and cloudy, but a glorious day none the less. I decided not to go all the way to the coast, and wait for a warmer day. Maybe Friday will rear its sunshine head, and be warm enough for an outing. With so much to always do, I think I will take the time for a craft activity I enjoy. Beading myself a new summer bracelet sounds like fun. Right now its almost 10am est, and Im still enjoying my pillow haven. A lazy morning is really nice, and its just what these old aching bones needed. Rest is underrated.
 
Its nine thirty pm est and Im snuggled into my pillow haven.
A good warm cup of Earl Grey is on my night stand, with a little honey.
Tonight I seem to like it that way for some reason. I switch up how I make tea often.
I find myself dreaming of past prayers, wondering to myself if years of doing so have been futile.
Then I remember to myself the totally miraculous way our Father created the entire universe, from the stars to the sea.
I gaze into the moonlight and wonder in it all. From the gravitational pull of the planets, to dark holes of empty space.
We are but small creations in the vastness of it all; we are minute pieces playing the roles of our life.
Might we choose wisely in love, and happiness. I think many of us waste too much time on the other bull shit.
Get over what ever it is already, and make the best of every situation for God first, and then ourselves.
...and remember to be thankful it wasnt worse

green blue swells roar not so quietly
ripping through in caps of faintest baby blue
a colorful bobbing array await never patient
for the almost perfect ragging force of nature
to create where they collectively find comradery
sharing many exciting moments of their lives

education has no meaning nor professions
only a sporting ability and agility to survive
to paddle to your hearts content and swim
sometimes like your life really depends on it
holding your breath when you get slammed hard
scrapped across twisted and dragged till flesh is raw

never mind lurking life that wont be humane
by any means of any man made definition
when in that one defining epic minute of thrill
hearts race and pound when a great one starts
as nothing else matters while minds go blank
so a few at the right place get to catch a ride

memories are manufactured by beach sand
cemented into sex wax on battered boards
sunburn is worn like badge with peeling skin
cracked lips sting way worse than any jelly fish
and summers quickly fade into yester year
salt watered away with one more rolling wave~

(it does my heart good to know you still read me once in a while @bobinfaith~ hugs)

there is always something magical about making bread
from starting a good yeast prepared in an old jar
and feeding the mixture for days till its ready
to picking out what type of flour you wish to use
I usually use what ever I have in the house
like a King Arthur variety of organic white or wheat

sometimes I even mix the two and add honey
usually four cups of flour one of milk and one of water
a teaspoon or two of salt two or four tablespoons of honey
a tablespoon of olive oil and herbs if I have no milk or honey
with a healthy heaping dose of homemade jar yeast
and knead away like its children fun time play dough

I always make a grand mess covered in dusty residue
but thats half the enjoyment of it for me anyways
while Bailey our spitz rotty looks at me like Grandma
dont I get to taste what ever it is you are making?
as I shew her out of the kitchen time again and again
keeping my pretty loaves warm and quiet so they rise

I never punch my dough down again like my mom used to
it seems to take to much time for it to rise again
the taste difference isnt noticeable to me anyway
and thats all that really matters with buttery yumminess
fresh hot with a crispy crust steaming out of the oven
saying you better eat me now or forever miss your piece!

lol... time to go bake :)
 
This brought back memories of mom who regularly baked bread, cake and other goodies. Hot out of the oven homemade bread with melting butter was a wonderful treat we had about once a week. There was always homemade bread in the house.
 
we all experience estrangement in our Christian walk
sometimes its growing faster than our loved ones
as we feel they are being left behind in our journey
other times they are being left behind for we drift apart
its a natural process of learning and aging through life
we leave our families to start our own in this world

our values interests and views evolve like we do
we discover that opposition may cement our beliefs
standing firm on the foundations of biblical scriptures
which may alienate those persons we once believed
were our best and closest friends on this roller coaster
other times differences compliment our strengths

they might strengthen our weaknesses so we may progress
into a self realization from deep spiritual introspection
that we are all simply another gear in these big wheels
of unique mechanisms in this beautiful body of Christ
made to be the way we are as to add other perspectives
with a quality of being in which we were created to serve

so its ok to let go and move on to turn our own pages
after all we have freedom of will to write our very own
illustrated colorful lives full of gained wisdom to share
might we never remorse in having to leave the past
gaining what we were meant to discover as we see
the light of Christ shine brightly around us~
