It just never ends does it???
I thought that verse meant that God was limiting out years to 120 years old at max. But then again, there are some people who lived longer than that.
Shmitas are 7 years apart. So the next shmita is 2021-2022 and then 2028-2029.
That's what a lot of people say... Aside from the pre-flood people, Moses was the only one that lived to exactly 120 years. Abraham was 175. By the time David came along it was 70 years is promised, 80 if they were strong. The 120-year statement was before the flood when man lived over 900 years... so it can't be the meaning. Just my opinion.
Math was never my strong suit :^) but the Jubilee would then be 2024. 1 year difference between your calculation and a possible Jubilee.
At best, in the past, I always thought the verse was saying no one would live past 120 years after the Tree of Life effects were done being purged from the DNA...but I think I like your speculation about the 120 Jubilees. So, when, according to your chronology is the 7000th year reached?

Again, I start from Creation, not Moses. That's why it's different. It also doesn't help when it's a Hebrew calendar which starts in our Sep/Oct timeframe and sometimes they have 13 months... very confusing.
I was hoping you would have all the begats graphed out - or I'm doing something wrong...I can't view the details other than Creation: Adam created, Eve formed, Age of Adam. But cut to the chase - when does your calculations say the 7000th year begins (ballpark?). I get what you are saying about the calendar dates, etal. I was going by end of Sept (the dates we use nowadays) to the ends of the following year. Talking time with all the different calendars is difficult. Still - what do you think about the timeline as matched to our times now?

It's all speculation off of the verse about 1000 year reign of Christ and 2 Peter 3:18. Either way, as with all date setters, we'll see soon enough.
I know what you mean and I'm aware of the dangers of trying to set dates....still, I am astonished at the way things are starting to line up so clearly. The blood moon at Easter/Passover was awesome altho I had to watch it on tv (only the start could be seen in the eastern US). I'm still waiting for the (any) event that may happen in April. Iran getting nukes is the start of major trouble. The job report for March was dismal but today CNN was saying there's "2 jobs for every seeker" which doesn't mesh well with the March report. I'm just amazed - mostly.
Same here. Waiting to see whats gonna happen this month(April). I've seen quite a few economic predictions in my life, but never one with such seemingly biblical milestones and markers. A little frightening and exciting.
From what I have looked at - the "predictions" for April are "iffy" and what I'm understanding it could be just about anything -economic/political/military. I'm of 2 minds on this because there is a part of me that doesn't want to believe anything more bad will happen (extreme weather report: tornado storms raking the heartland US tonight) but am watching more intently than usual as if anything did happen, it would seem more confirming of events in Sept/Oct. I've been thinking a lot on judgement of nations lately and it is with astonishment that I'm seeing/living thru prophecies made thousands of years ago. Watching Ben Stein's movie "Expelled", it really seems the tide against God's truth has fully engaged against us. We are miles deep in deception and no one seems to be listening.
We went to the store today and while I was waiting for the deli to get cut, I felt a need to look around. I turned and the strangest feeling overcame me - not a physical feeling, but maybe something in my spirit rather than my body. As I looked around I saw people walking by doing their shopping and everything was bright and colorful. Then just like the movies, from left to right the scene turned black and white and the shelves were empty, some fallen over, the back of the store's roof had caved in and the place looked like it was part of some WWII movie set, empty and deserted for years and years. It was like I was seeing into the future and I felt so bad for the people walking around because they didn't know what was coming. The entire event lasted no more than 45-50 seconds. But it was so vivid.
I know the feeling and I can't help feeling so frustrated. Warning does no good as people are shoved off into fringe elements and whack-a-do land. For too long people kept saying "it's coming" at the wrong time and now no one listens.(sob). Even loved ones won't listen...and it's a heartbreak. I keep thinking of those of Lot's household who didn't listen and stayed in Sodom. There is no satisfaction to say I told you so.
