Hi.Hello:israel:
Could you give us examples?please!
Soon hubby will be home, so I'm not ignoring any of you I will not have computer access until he is asleep![]()
why?I think the broad application of the word is is appropriate here.
I believe that the intention was to simply cause the reader to consider his or her past ans come into a place of repentance for anything connected to darkness in any way. If that is the case a broad application would certainly accomplish this. The point is not the definition but the freedom.why?
I think the word or sound you are referring to is the "OM". Its basic function is to calm the body during meditation or yoga. It isn't an incantation. Really, the sound could be anything you want as long as it relaxes the person saying it. I think it's just an easy sound that resonates well when a lot of people say it at the same time. BTW, I don't practice yoga or meditation.BTW thank You dashrendar88 for your opinion
Oh ! I don't know much about Yoga except my motherinlaw commented that when she tried it you were suppose to recite a word or sound in reference to the culture from whence it came... Maybe they don't do that anymore? She found it very disturbing...
In that case I would make the suggestion that not all of the things listed are "connected to darkness" as you put it. Most are frauds, some are dangerous to weak minds and others are actually beneficial and/or fun and do not take away from christianity.I believe that the intention was to simply cause the reader to consider his or her past ans come into a place of repentance for anything connected to darkness in any way. If that is the case a broad application would certainly accomplish this. The point is not the definition but the freedom.
Not wanting to play the Devil's Advocate here, I am reading these post and have to ask myself a question. Is there a fear of the word occult in general? I ask this because, if I remember correctly, the "FISH" was a symbol for the occult known as Christianity.
I don't know why this question came to mind other than I am a member of the occult known as Christianity.![]()
My pleasureNot to take the thread off-track... but I just wanted to say THANK YOU seeking, for this great info!![]()
I checked a few of those. but where is the second half?
I don't consider having done that stuff in the past as having an impact on me now.![]()
