Okay, great, thank you. I looked up that verse in the King James Bible and this is what I got:

Psalm 101:3
King James Version (KJV)
3 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.

What does that mean to you?

And modesty verses were about dressing in gold, pearls, braids, and costly array...
And that Psalms verse is about not watching, reading, or listening to things that will mislead you... People see a lot of sin outside too.

And my Bible is the XII general church's reunion's translation from 1933 and 1938.

By the way, I heard an archeology article where it said that the Bible is actually mistranslated... And it has been translated many times a bit differently... But the thing is that we must ask God though... God knows best... I ask God...
 
A christian woman should have discretion in how she chooses to dress. She is not influenced by fashion if it goes against her principles. She respects herself and the way she presents herself. She looks after herself and wants to please God. She makes the best of herself for God's glory.

Ask God. I asked God about my clothing style, and I still didn't get any guilty feeling.

Well, since Harry Potter is not real magick, I think it's okay to watch as entertainment. And Psalms 101:3 really means that don't watch it IF it misleads you...
 
No. I mean, I do feel guilty when I do some sins, like lusting, but I don't feel guilty the way I dress... Why would tank and tube tops and tube dresses, and miniskirts and minishorts be so immodest? Like men would lust by seeing shoulders and legs... -.-""

I don't think this is your fault. I think this is just how our society is these days. The way I see people dress in the church, is no different then the way people dress in the bars. At least that's how it is in my area.

So, it says pretty much the same thing as the KJV. I don't see how you are interpreting this to have an IF.

See? And because of society of what is immodest and what's not, these clothes what I wear aren't immodest. Garter belts are immodest because they are associated with prostitution. And teenybopper, chav and chavette, and prostitute clothes are also immodest because they wear a lot of weird bling bling, and expensive clothes and accessories, but teenyboppers, chavs and chavettes, and prostitutes look like the people in the rap and hip hop videos. But I dress like a cartoon or anime character.

I think it depends on how short, etc. There is kinda short and then there is SHORT where things are showing.

Yes, women should think a little more about these things. I think some do it because they feel pressured to. I think some like the attention it brings. I think some do it to fit it. Many reasons.
