Speak of the Two Witnesses,

Revelation 11:8-9 (KJV)
And their dead bodies [shall lie] in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

To me its a taste of things to come....
The fact its been recorded is deplorable.
what are your thoughts.
Violence is never a problem solving tool, no matter if it as fanatical Islamist, Jew, Christian or atheist.

But that behaviour is part and parcel of being still in the old way.

As Christians we have to leave it into the hands of God. Our lot is not thrown into carnal war.

What is there to say? ISIL is a terrorist group and what they did isn't surprising. Islam advocates violence and ISIL is a Islam extremist group. What happened was a tragedy and I pray for the family. Now about the prophecy... The 2 bodies in Revelation are the future prophets. This has not happened yet...

Islam does not advocate violence any more than Judaism or Christianity.

These people are Islamists, and therefore are not following the Law that Muslims adhere to.

They are like the KKK or Westboro Baptists are to Christians or like Zionists are to Judaism.

Actually it does. I suggest watching this video.

It's this type of "advertising" that allows a small group of punk terrorists to terrorize an entire nation.
People are terrified of standing up to them.
Sadly, they ARE adhering to Islam, their interpretation of it anyway.
The Koran does allow for the oppression and murder of "infidels".

And so you'll believe a youtube video that is propaganda over empirical data of all the Muslims in the world vs how many acts of violence they cause?

Well if we are going to go there we might as well say all Jews and Christians are just as violent as well as all atheists.

Baby, bathwater, fallacy.

Only as combatants. Not as non-combatants.

This is where the West doesn't get it right. And it is why the West will continue to add fuel to the Islamist fire.

I don't do end times in a way that would enable me to attach specific significance to this or any other event.

On the other hand, I do believe this world is on an irreversible collision course with disaster and I do ponder a time (particularly as I'm not a pre trib believer myself) when even in my own life time I'm sort of prepared (if one can be) to have my own head chopped off if a time of horror came.

That, at least to me, is easier than truly answering "am I ready for Christ?" and let's face it, even if we did know the hour, we wouldn't know if our own time was to precede it.

So, yes, I'm worried about the state of the world and what may happen, what may even seem to me at times upon us, but my own state with Christ (which doesn't yet seem totally right) is a much bigger concern.

I watched the video. To me it's a reminder never to listen to them. No matter what you say, they're going to cut your head off if you get caught by them. So if they ever catch you and tell you to deny Christ. Tell them no, and to go ahead and cut your head off, because they're going to cut your head off either way.

It's too bad you are unwilling to learn. I remember you saying the same things on a different thread. If you don't want to watch the video so that you can keep your wrong view then why should I continue talking to you?

My expectations are that in any country where there are so called peace loving muslims, they will stand shoulder to shoulder with their extremist brothers if the occasion arises. ie. if isis (or similar) was attempting to take over the US, every 'peace loving' muslim in the US would stand shoulder to shoulder with those extremist insurgents. Such is the nature of the beast.

Rev 20.."I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. Theya had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years....."
This is the future shock I think all of you need to spiritually prepare yourselves for as Christians. If a group of 20,000 can terrorise a whole nation imagine what will happen when they become a nation. The Beast will sign a treaty with the UN for seven years and in the first 3 1/2 years will demand the execution of non worshippers throughout the world. The United States will deliver you up. This event could be as soon as fifteen years away.

Why fifteen years?

Personally I think that because of the extreme savagery emerging, the image of God tarnished though it is anyway, is becoming so tarnished that maybe even He will not recognize His image anymore and so a mega clean up will soon result.

Why fifteen years?
because if Jesus ascended into heaven in 30AD its logical to assume he will come back in 2030 AD, so 2030 minus 2014 equals 16 years,
please note I am a mid tribulation raptureist, so the tribulation would start in 2027, andthe global persecution of the fifth seal would be from about 2027 or 13 years from now...ASSUMING Jesus were to return at a mid point and 2030 were the year.
