Paul said to die is to be with the Lord. Jesus said in my Fathers house are many mansions that I go and prepare for you. Scripture says we have family in heaven and in Earth.
There is every scriptural indication that as a believe if you die then you go and be with the Lord. Even in Revelation they are hanging out in Heaven waiting for vengeance and the Lord tells them to hang on a bit.
The unsaved:
The unsaved are judged already.
And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me;
(Joh 16:8-9)
And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me;
(Joh 16:8-9)
Mat 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
Luk 12:5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
There would be nothing to fear if hell was not the destination.
Jesus went right straight to Hell, so it's a real place. Hell did not destroy him as some think Hell is, but he preached to the prisoners (spirits) in hell and brought them out of there with him.
Act 2:31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
Angels which hell was created for are not destroyed either. They have form enough to put chains on them in Hell.
2Pe 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
Hell is a place of torment, you just don't evaporate in Hell. You end up in hell for not believing on the Lord Jesus. Judgement day God will bring everyone out of hell to be judged.
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
We know perfectly because I just gave a bunch of Scripture that tells us.
