Would you like me to bow down to you all? I can listen and do. If I do would you belive me. Bowing at your feet. Telling you I was wrong?
No one here wants you or anybody else to bow down to anybody here...bow down and confess Jesus Christ IS Lord to the glory of God the Father.
What some may think is wrong is not my idea.
Yes it is just as we are/were responsible for our misdeeds (not our victimizations our sins)
God is forgiving, correct? That is what everyone says. I am not oppressed. I am depressed. I have prayed before but it has never gotten me anywhere.
Faith (putting your trust in, relying on, and cleaving to Him and what He has done on your behalf) is the key...not prayer. Prayer is a good start but when at first you do not see results to your liking you give up? Meeting some needs and making some changes takes time. Imagine if that was your approach to swimming? You either wouldn't or drown...! Let us imagine you would like to see fruit in your life...how long does it take fruit to grow? Instantly? No you have to plant the seeds and then cultivate.
The way I pick and chose my words so carefully, I want to listen but how can I when there is hate behind your words?
You call it hate because it does not also give you your way...so you are depressed. To me that means you were either hurt or abused by someone(s) or else life is not meeting what you thought it was supposed to be, well its not, its hard...its often boring with a smattering of happiness and sadness, pleasure and pain...as John Lennon the atheist once said, Life is what happens to you when you are making other plans...thats only half though...
Michael, if you saw a strange girl dying in the street who was ditry and alone, would you pick her up and take her home, or leave her to suffer the fate she would have depending on your choice. Do you see that the truth lies in what I have said. None of you except for few would help that poor girl on the street.
We did...she was an alcoholic prostitute who had been beaten by a john (a Trnidadian woman) and she lived with us a year and a half....is a Bible believing Christian now, reunited to her children, has a nice apartment...wouldn't you like that? She had to work for it though (not at her trade)...she fell back a few times....babies take time to learn to walk you know...trusting relaince that will not quit no matter what happens....Faith plus action equals miracles. I want to tell you a story in my next post
