THE INNER ROOM - "Learn and Grow - to Maturity". Please read the 1st Post.

Please TAKE YOUR TIME to read and understand these very important Messages! (No need to do them all at once - there's always tomorrow! *grin*)

Here's now it works in those who've become Christian men and women: when a person CHOOSES (and it IS a choice, a simple but SERIOUS choice) that they are going to go all the way with the Lord Jesus and His Gospel - WHATEVER IT TAKES!! - THEN the angels rejoice, and God gears up to do amazing things first IN, then THROUGH, that Christian!!

Why is it that so few take this choice? *sadness!* All manner of things cause them not to - BUT... each bad choice is to the DETRIMENT of THEIR LIFE, and to THE DETRIMENT of the SPREADING of the GOSPEL, and most especially ULTIMATELY will SERIOUSLY AFFECT THEM in ETERNITY.

We know that the only two 2 groups of people in the world are the SAVED and the UNSAVED, and that the saved spend eternity with God while the unsaved are punished in hell. And we who BELIEVE and are FULLY HIS are SAFE FOR ALL ETERNITY!! An absolutely great feeling isn't it!!!

The test above concerns a separation between the saved and unsaved that occurs before Jesus as Judge of the nations (click: Matthew 25:31-32). But there's another event spoken of for Christians only: the Judgment Seat of Christ. 2 Corinthians Ch 5:10 For we must all appear and be revealed as we are before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive [his pay] according to what he has done in the body, whether good or evil. Amplified Bible.

Were you aware of this? That we are to be judged according to WHAT WE DO AS CHRISTIAN BELIEVERS? - by OUR WORKS!! It's sure not one that I was ever taught! And 'the pay' that the Amplified suggests here is our REWARD!!

Continued in Part 2 (next post below)...

- BM, with his Beloved

... Continued from Part 1 (above post)

OUR REWARD we should receive is clearly expressed here:

1 Corinthians Ch 3:13 The work of each will become known (shown for what it is); for the day [of Christ] will disclose and declare it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test and critically appraise the character and worth of the work each person has done.
14 If the work which any person has built on this Foundation [Jesus Christ] survives, he will get his reward. 15 But if any person's work is burned up, he will suffer the loss [of it all, losing his reward], though he himself will be saved, but only as [one who has passed] through fire. Amplified Bible.

So God is here assuring us that A CHRISTIAN'S WORK will be on full display, and FIRE will TEST the works we've done. Oooh!! There can be only 2 results of this:

(a) If we've build our work on the right FOUNDATION, i.e., truly on CHRIST, then we RECEIVE OUR REWARD. But,

(b) If the fire BURNS up your work (you failed to properly build your life and works on CHRIST) then you suffer THE LOSS OF YOUR REWARD. NOTE: you will still be SAVED (as in "only just saved"), but you will receive NO REWARD!

After we step through death, or Jesus comes, we go through the Judgment of our WORKS, good and bad at the Judgment Seat of Christ, then OUR FAILURE TO LIVE AS THE BIBLE COMMANDS — our continued SINS, our following of FALSE DOCTRINE and our dreadful SLACKNESS about not fully following the LORD and HIS WAYS, our WORLDLINESS (LOVE of COMFORT, EASE, MONEY and MATERIALISM) for all of these we run a dreadfully serious risk of LOSING our REWARD!!!

Does this sound SERIOUS to you? Sure does to me!! Okay, so it's: have a great time enjoying "the good life" and living our way, and not COMMITTING SERIOUSLY TO JESUS down here - then LOSE your REWARD up there - remembering that here is VERY SHORT for us to live "following our own way", while there is FOREVER and EVER. Have a serious think about that, hey! Then make some ETERNAL DECISIONS!! They'll entail CHANGES - but these changes are all GREATLY for the BETTER in the end!!

Completed in Part 3 (next post below)...

- BM, with is Love

... Completed from Part 2 (above post)

As a Christian Believer each one of us has JESUS as the FOUNDATION for our life!! THIS IS ALL ABOUT how you BUILD - so that He truly IS your FOUNDATION of/for ALL your works!!! Build carefully, prayerfully thoughtfully, conscientiously, and COMMITTEDLY on Him, ENSURING that you are living out what the Bible says!! (I cannot stress this too strongly!! - any old doctrine and practice that some Minister or Church may have for you is SIMPLY NOT GOOD ENOUGH!)

We will NOT all be equal in heaven, any more than we are here. But the test THEN is going to be based SOLELY on HOW YOU LIVE NOW. I've never seen this as clearly as I'm seeing it now!!! It's time for a real SHAKE UP in your Christian life concerning YOUR WORKS - whether they are GOOD or BAD!

These simply HAVE to be based on the truth of the Bible, from the New Testament, on JESUS (as our Foundation) and on His COMMANDS, AND YOU NEED TO BE CERTAIN YOU HAVE THEM RIGHT! Otherwise what? You're not building from the right foundation UP - and the FIRE IS GOING TO BURN THAT ALL UP, in accordance with 1 Corinthians Ch 3:13-15 in Part 2. Your loss then is MASSIVE: YOU LOSE ALL YOUR REWARD! PLEASE do NOT let that happen!!

Completed in Part 4 (next post below)...

- BM, with his Lady

... Completed from Part 3 (above post)

At the end of the day what we're looking at here is THE QUALITY OF YOUR WORKS!

If (a) you've not learnt or are learning how to be living right, and/or you've not learnt or are learinng how to do that in full accordance with His Holy Word, then your works may very well be what the New Testament refers to as dead works!! Sadly Christians are unknowingly doing these all the time! God is NOT going to be at all rapt with THEM!! Do you think dead works are GOOD WORKS? Certainly not! They're EVIL WORKS according to His Word, and they'll ultimately be burnt right up when ALL of our WORKS are tested in His FIRE!

Now there's one final fact in the NT about this subject that it's good for us to know. 1 Corinthians Ch 3:8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. Did you get that? Our REWARD will be different from others. Our REWARD will be according to our own works, our own labour. Wow! So MAKE CERTAIN you build with good materials - by LIVING and WORKING and SERVING GOD IN ACCORDANCE - EXACTLY! - WITH THE NEW TESTAMENT!! The RESPONSIBILITY to get this RIGHT is YOURS!

There are now 180 Messages here in The Inner Room for you to take advantage of in CAREFULLY READING THEM!! MORE THAN ENOUGH - I would have thought - TO ENSURE THAT YOU DO NOT LOSE YOUR REWARD! I've spent hundreds and hundreds of hours researching, checking, and writing them - to do my VERY, VERY BEST to ENSURE they are true to the SCRIPTURES. However no man can ever be perfect - only God is that! So if anything seems not right, I'm as close as a PM and PROMISE to check it out, because I am a seeker after God's truth just like you!

I pray for YOU to be a CERTAIN receiver of your REWARD in heaven!!

- BM, with his Lady

"Lord, please bring your revelation to all those who are reading about our REWARD here. Send Your Spirit that their minds may be clear as they read.

"I pray that together our changed lives will make a difference in Your Kingdom. Our reward in having You as our God is quite enough - but I also know that You want us to come to be with You forever with the greatest possible godliness and righteousness in our lives, knowing You intimately. May our Good Works help bring these to pass!

"Thankyou for being our God, for caring like You do, and constantly working to make us more like Your Son! We truly need You so bad!!"

Huge praise report

It is late and I am sooooooooo tired, but just had to send a quick huge praise report.

My daugher her friend and I spent this past week-end at the Revolve Tour which is a Christian event for Teen girls. It was held in Rochester NY.

It is called the All Access Tour meaning to teach the girls about having All Access to God.

Awesome music! Awesome speakers! After the one speaker explained how all girls can have access to God, they explained how Jesus died on the cross and such for each one of them, they had the girls pray to have allow God complete access to their hearts. They then brought the lights back up and had the girls fill in the card in the middle of the brochure and check the box in the lower right if the girls asked for full access. My daughter's friend filled the form out , and marked the X, my daughter could not find the brochure so she asked her friend to put her name on hers.

When we got home, I got out the bible and started reading the book of John, then talked and shared about explained about the whole full access and salvation and both girls said they understood and they had asked Jesus into their hearts !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now how do you like those apples!
Wow Bondman !!!!!!!!!!

I have attached pics.

Hugs Robin
Will write more later
I can say that I definitely love them apples, hon!!!!!

I believe that's 2 more 2nd Generation Believers!!! Which is now 3 (but who's counting! *hee!!!*) Whoo-hoooooo, God is sooo GOOD!!

I can imagine you're over the moon about Marissa!!! Andy next??

Keeping all of this in daily prayer!

Much love to you, and please send a pile to Marissa also - from BM and Mrs!!
After I'd written that about Andy, I started to think: hmm... maybe you'd said he's already born again. If that was so, I reckoned you'd soon sort me out on it, and you have!! *hee!*

So to me that actually makes the weekend and daughter's commitment all the more wonderful to hear and know. "Thankyou, Lord Jesus - words are simply not enough!!"

- BM
That would be me for sure! :)

Ok I am taking a few days break. I am tired , exhausted and so much going on.

I need to just spend some time taking care of things around the home and my health has not been overly good lately. Just a bit run down.

So I won't be posting for a few days. Got to get caught up on many things.

Bondman I promise I will be in touch soon again. I have a couple burning questions that I need some guidance on.

Let me ask you one so you can ponder on it.
One of the gals at work keeps asking me if I found a church to be rooted in yet. She feels that I need to be doing all things in my life under authority. I believe I do work under the biggest authority and that is the Lord.

But with even talking to some of the women God leads me to and some of the things that I do , she has been cautioning me telling me I really need to be under authority. Now mind you I do go to church on Sundays at the AOG, sometimes the Lutheran early service and sometimes on Saturday night to a church where I love the music and hear a good message. I truly have not really found that 100% fit. I am happy doing what I am doing, but what do you make of this? I mean she really gets to me sometimes.

Thanks and have a super day!
Hugs to the Mrs.

Great to hear you're taking some time out, hon. I'm sure you need and deserve it!! When we run too hard for too long, it's inevitable that our health will suffer. Learning to pace onesself in Ministry is seldom easy! (Just ask ME!...)

Yes, you do work under the Lord's guidance, and that's EXACTLY how it should be!! I do nothing but highly commend you for your commitment to Him and His work tht He's called you to! Not a great lot of folks in churches, whether they have placed themselves 'under authority' or not, live and do as you do.

That being said, this question is most definitely one of the $64,000 ones that have exercised the minds of Protestant individuals and Churches ever since God started raising them up in Europe and England over 500 years ago! The wonderful heritage we enjoy today from those involved in the birth of Protestantism I believe has never quite resolved this question and aspects of our walk with the Lord that revolve around it.

It seems to come down to two things from the New Testament Scriptures: an injunction to be in subjection to church authorities on the one hand, and on the other hand the matter of obeying God rather than men. How do you resolve this apparent contradiction?

I guess for me, in my 51 years with the Lord, I can remember just one man, with his wife Missionaries with the China Inland Mission, who were expelled when the Communists took over there, who I would have been prepared (and ecstatic) to place myself under his authority, and learn from!!!!

Because, I suppose, I somehow KNEW that they were truly Spiritually mature (which seems to be rare), and - for want of a better word - Spiritually 'worthy'. Because even after all these years have passed I can still 'see' his unbelievably kindly face (they were elderly by then) from which somehow shone the love of the Lord Jesus, their whole demeanour which seemed so amazingly godly, their humility which radiated from them, and whose words were spoken with a quiet and gentle authority like I'd never heard before, nor have since.

At this time nearly five decades ago, my situation was such that it would have been very difficult if not impossible for me to have become 'their disciple' - even if they'd have been prepared to accept this, with the work of God they were still doing here in Australia. That this was NOT possible may seem regrettable, but in God's plan this apparent 'negative' was highly important: it was necessary for me to do and learn basically alone!! This has been SO HARD, but without it I would not be who I am today (nor here at CFS in the Inner Room).

We surely must say that God IS GOD!! He knows all, and always has! He knows the way that is right for us. For me, I will continue to follow what He speaks to me to the absolute best of my ability, with the help and support of His Blessed Spirit - all the while holding myself ready to confess and repent of that which I get wrong...

Enjoy your rest-time!

- BM

Edit: It's pretty difficult to find a church with "100% fit".

If I say that this message is about faith and trust I reckon I'd hear the sighs from here: "Get real, BM, I already KNOW all that!" Up until a couple of weeks ago, I would have agreed with you. At that time I went into some of the 'deepest' prayer that maybe I've ever done. Y'see for a considerable number of years I've been praying every single day for a miracle, correction, for TWO miracles, concerning myself and Beloved. Miracles that simply CANNOT happen!!! After some years of prayer, I believed that early one morning He clearly spoke to me and said: "My son, your prayers are granted. So don't pray for them further - instead just give Me thankyous." I have, every day since.

So far, so good! But then things started to go awry. I shared what God said with various Christians, including a Pastor I trusted, and got little to no support!!! I know a lot of this was that we all know that God CAN do xxx when we pray -- but WILL HE?? I was alone, and basically being discouraged from believing. And THAT was REAL HARD TO HANDLE...

I stood firm for some time against the 'unbelief' around me. But standing alone, eventually it all seemed to catch up with me, and my faith and trust in what I believed God has said to me dropped down, down far enough that I became UNSURE whether He was going to bring the miracles or not. I still DARED to HOPE so, but was uncertain. NOT a very nice place to be in!!

Time passed. I still talked to the Lord every day about my miracles. Eventually ONE other Christian believed with me (thanks a million, Val!!) Around two weeks ago I got totally and utterly sick of living month after month after month with the uncertainty of one foot on each side of the fence of Faith! DRASTIC ACTION was needed. But what? I didn't know. I went to PRAY and asked for HELP!

What DO you do when your FAITH is not up to the task: YOU ASK FOR MORE FAITH!!! I've long understood that the Fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23 is just ONE Fruit, but in nine different FORMS, and that each of us have these FORMS TO A DIFFERING DEGREE!! This led to wondering if one may pray for, say our "patience" to be INCREASED. Or our "faith", meaning our TRUST in God, our faithfulness TOWARDS the One Who's bought us by His Grace!! In the past I've prayed for more PATIENCE, and for more SELF-CONTROL and He's given these to me!

So I went to the Lord many times every day for MORE FAITH, and for my faith to become STRONGER!!! And He's answered, so I now BELIEVE TOTALLY for our MIRACLES!! But here's the amazing thing: in order to REMAIN STRONGLY BELIEVING, I'M STILL PRAYING DAILY FOR MORE FAITH, AND FOR IT TO BE STRONGER!!! Why? Well I've found that otherwise, my feelings and emotions come back in, to drag down my faith for the impossible!! To me, anyway, that is mody REVELATORY and quite ASTONISHING!!

Maybe some of this will help you in one or more of your prayers for the impossible! You CAN pray for more FAITH! And you may well need to daily CONTINUE this prayer until you receive your answer from the Lord! Blessings to all!!

Loved it! Thanks for a great post.. yep that would be me needing that faith.. more and more of it.. I always look to Jeremiah 29:11- For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, plans to prosper you , not harm you! Whoo hoo..
I am hanging on and trying to get this rest time I need, but I get withdrawal if I do not check in now and then! Thanks for the post on authority as well.

So you get withdrawal symptoms, huh!! *haha!*

The Jeremiah verse (Old Testament!) was an encouragement one, from God, for the Jews in exile. NOT for us! Many churches which are part of a large modern church grouping seem to quote this verse all the time (maybe where you picked it up from?)

However, because what the verse says fits just fine with our New Testament Guidebook, it's okay to use it personally! - with the serious proviso that you're very CAREFUL to understand that "prosper" FOR US does not mean money and materialistic prosperity as it could mean back then (I know you didn't mean it like that - but others could easily interpret it that way, right! Which is why I never quote that verse.)

"Prosper" and "prosperity" for us today in the New Testament refer to promises from the Lord to prosper us in the SPIRITUAL REALM - with Jesus giving us very serious warning about the dangers of material RICHES!!

Continuing to pray for your 'rest up'!! Much love!

Yes Bondman, thanks for clarifying that so folks do not think of it the wrong way, I honestly do think of the prospering, not in the materialistic way but in the spiritual realm of things.

There sure is alot of serious warning about the dangers of material riches and so much more.

When folks are still walking around so lost and confused, especially the Christians, they really do no need to realize that God's word, the bible is the true GPS to life. It's all in there, but everyone can use every excuse in the book not to pick it up, (myself included within that). But honestly since I have been taking the time things are much better.

Easy, no.. but I am finding that things are truly much better in life. It is Sat am here. Up bright and early, getting ready to do some reading myself, then off to the street ministry bus this AM. Then I am coming home to work around the house. I truly am tired of the way my home is. Just clutter here and there, kind of like my mind and soul was until I really allowed Jesus in. Once I allowed him in, the inner soul clutter started getting in order.. now can ya imagine that! I am so thankful. My personal goal and wish is to have my physical home in order by the end of May, so that going into the summer months, I can just plain enjoy the sunshine and not feel still cluttered. My mom has always told me to start with the room that folks see first. Just start in one corner, then finish that and go to the next.

As I wrote that sentence, it made me think that is how it is with our faith walk, we need to start somewhere, one corner of our soul, we all truly know which "prick of the holy spirit" is really getting to us.. start with that one.. and allow Jesus to keep cleaning that one up.

Have a super week-end! Hugs to you and the Mrs. !

We all know that those who believe in Jesus will end up with eternal life, right! When we receive Him as our personal Lord and Saviour that gives us salvation. ALL TRUE! BUT... is it the whole story? Let Jesus Himself tell us! HINT: Keep a very careful eye out for the word "righteous!"

MATTHEW 25:31-46

"When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, THEN He will sit on the throne of His glory!! ALL THE NATIONS will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the SHEEP on His right hand, but the GOATS on the left.

"Then the King will say to those on His RIGHT HAND, 'Come, you BLESSED of My Father, INHERIT THE KINGDOM prepared for you from the foundation of the world! For...

I was hungry and you gave Me food

I was thirsty and you gave Me drink

I was a stranger and you took Me in

I was naked and you clothed Me

I was sick and you visited Me

I was in prison and you came to Me.'

"Then the RIGHTEOUS will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, WHEN did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?'

"And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to ME!!'

"Then He will also say to those on the LEFT HAND, 'Depart from Me, you CURSED, into THE EVERLASTING FIRE prepared for the devil and his angels! For...

I was hungry and you gave Me NO food
I was thirsty and you gave Me NO drink
I was a stranger and you did NOT take Me in
naked and you did NOT clothe ME
sick and in prison and you did NOT visit Me.'

"Then they also will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, WHEN did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?'

"Then He will answer them, saying, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did NOT do it to one of the least of these, you did NOT do it to ME!!'

"And these will go away into EVERLASTING PUNISHMENT, BUT the RIGHTEOUS into ETERNAL LIFE!!!"

(Scripture enhancements mine.)

Please ENSURE you continue reading in Part 2

Looking forward to the next part.

Busy day on the bus today, ministered to several folks, one gal who knows the Lord , has young son, her husband is in prison, she is to come to church with me tomorrow.

Been starting to study for my first ministry class which is the end of this month. I tell you Bondman, I am so forever gratelful all you have shared and taught me. As I sat and read the book of Colossians- I actually understood it! whoo hoo!

Went to church at the Free Methodist Church, they are doing a series called "Lord of the rings" .. it is all about marriages and relationships.. tonight's topic.. are you ready for this:
The myths of Sex! I got to tell you it was an awesome message, I was crying by the end..

Man during the praise and worship music, I had both arms up praising our Lord. Spent the rest of the evening, working in my office and going through mounds of paperwork.. had a bit of computer withdrawal so I allowed myself half an hour.. have a great Sunday.

Back to rooting I go
Wow, read the Book of Colossians, and understood it! - now there's a worry!! *grins from ear to ear!!*

But did you know this? When you're 95 and read it AGAIN for the umteenth time, you'll discover things you've NEVER SEEN BEFORE!!!

That's the difference between GOD'S WORD and any other printed work on earth!!
