Why a Part 1?
Is there something special on Part 2?
Should it be only one part?
Could you explain your intention to have 2 parts?
I may want to participate on Part 2 if the discussion gets more juicy, eventhough here I see a lot of disagreement coming out of discussions out of the same book.
It seems that everybody is making their own INTERPRETATION of what has been written. So if we have 2 billion people in the world, we will get 2 billion interpretations. (Going to an extreme)
The problem is that our human nature is centered on the self: me, me, and only me.
My advice is that we should have empathy with the writer. We should put ourselves on His shoes.
So how can we do this?
We should pay attention to HIS ENTIRE MESSAGE.
We should read the message several times.
His message has been translated, for our convenience, in the English language.
The original OT was in Hebrew.
The NT was in Greek and in Arameic, the language that Jesus spoke. (Some people say that this is the language spoken in Heaven)
The translations also have problems that derail you from getting to know the ONLY TRUTH.
Do you want to know the Truth, then

Hey Brother,
Your on the right track. Dan 2, 7 , 8 and the two beast in Rev 13 and the Whore and the beast with 7 heads in Rev 17 are parallel chapters with Dan 2 serving as a template for all of prophecy. In Dan 2 if you remember, you have the head of gold, arms of silver, thighs of brass, legs of iron and the feet of iron and clay. Many, including the scholarly community (for those who give weight to those things) are pretty much in unison pertaining to the identity of the first four metals. The four kingdoms in the statue are Babylon (Gold), the Medes and the Persians (Silver), Greece (Brass), and Rome (Iron). When you get to the foot of the statue you have a mixture of Iron and Clay. The common interpretation of these feet are divided Rome, which composes modern Europe and parts of the mid East and Northern Africa. Here is where it gets interesting because the Iron (Rome) remains in the feet until the rock cut without hands smashes it in the feet. Let's consider the verses.
Dan 7:
42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. -Here the Kingdom of Rome , unlike the previous kingdoms mentioned, was never conquered but fell from within. It says the kingdom was partly strong and partly broken. History affirms this point.
43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. - This verse is telling us that there will be various attempts at unity and history testifies to this point. The Kings of Europe often tried to unite Europe by marriage or conquest. You have Napoleon who almost succeeded in conquest but failed at England. And of course, who could forget Adolf Hitler. No doubt the European Union comes to mind as well (a brainchild of
Roman Catholicism incidentally), which as we can see with BREXIT and other things, also failed.
But let us now jump back to verse 41,
41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.
Here we have two forms of clay. One is potters clay, the other is miry clay. What is symbolized by Potters Clay?
Isa 64:8 -
But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
Jer 18:6 -
O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.
Potters clay represents Christ followers, or the church. So when you see the feet combining potters clay with Iron, what the bible is telling us is that we have a combination of church craft and state craft. Does history affirm this? Did Rome ever unite with Christianity? As surely as God lives we know that to be the case.
Now we have a foundation. If you go to Dan 7, which discusses the 4 beast, you already pointed out correctly that the 4th beast represents Rome. Do we see church craft in that 4th beast? Do you have any thoughts on this?
Blessings,
