Guys you seem to focus a lot of the little stuff. Do you really see Christ sticking it to the gays and forcing them to use non-applicable terms? Rather Jesus tells us, if someone sues you in court and takes your shirt, give your coat also.
National politics are hardly a major concern in the Bible and in fact it says give to Caesar shat is Caesar's and to God what is God's. And as a corollary I would advise to let Caesar do what Caesar does and let God do what God does. Keep yourselves in check and don't worry about everyone else.

Scripture tells us to be obedient to those who are in authority over us, our leaders. Because it is God's will that they be placed in their position of authority over us.
And we are to obey them because God ordained it so. Unless or until, those leaders diverge from the word and will of God. And then we are not obligated to be obedient anymore because those leaders are betraying the author of their authority first.

Second, there comes a question about whether or not a Christian is called to be a push-over, and if you want to read that passage literally, then yes, you are suppose to be a pushover. And where is the Christian love in this judgment? Of course there is something moral about giving approval to letting people love who they fall in love with. If they are consenting adults there is nothing to judge. If you want to get specific and say that a specific person is doing something unhealthy because he is promiscuous, or adulterous, then I'm not going to argue with you, but couldn't a straight person also be promiscuous and adulterous? What sin is a completely monogamous, committed homosexual committing? And why be hypocritical and let the sinful sexual practices of straight people go right by, but condemn and judge when it's homosexual couple?
So they promote that these people be held in bondage to this sinful and destructive lifestyle, and then call that love? Its like watching
a child eat sweet poison and because they like the taste, we say that it is good not to tell them the truth.
