and even Bucky is excited about Karaoke tonight..... WE are gonna have a FULL HOUSE folks.

Darn... I did not check out the poster and there is a bad word in his name... so... NOPE.....

Picture a deer hopping.... and I mean.... HOPPING down the street like a kangaroo. HA. Sorry folks... NO bad words.

Edit... found it... and NO bad names... That tune is VERY CANADIAN.... especially our East Coast... HAHAHA

Good morning my precious forum family.

Happy MONDAY!!! I am listening to HARP music.... and just getting ready to submit a drawing for my new pen-pal.
I have so enjoyed this wonderful process of combining drawings and written word. Adding music in the back ground simply adds to the BEAUTY of it all.

Not much going on here this week.... We have a mild weather week ( well... HA... mild for winter )... so I will be getting out and walking.

I got my brand new runners this week... OH my goodness... that sales representative from Brooks ( NOT Reeboks )
hand picked the BEST EVER runners for me. I was so BLESSED to receive the perfect walking shoe.
As Bob stated.... this customer service experience has made me a FOREVER Brooks GAL. :D

My poor puzzle is being pathetically ignored and over-looked. I will also take some time today to work on it. It will be my LAST puzzle of the season.

GARDEN time is almost here. I am going to plant my seeds at the end of the first week of March. This is about 3 weeks earlier than last year. I still have lots of seeds left over from last year AND... I even harvested some seeds... so I want to see if that works out.

So... this is my little update for the day. Going to enjoy SAVOURING the moments.

Mr. Moose.... Frannie is sick in bed today... You might like to pay her a wee visit. :rolleyes:
 
Brooks makes a good shoe, but I personally enjoy the Asics Gel Nimbus best.
Both are orthopedic recommended. On Cloud, and Hoka make a good shoe, too.
Good early morning to you thenami ... I'm just sitting at my table writing a letter.. and saw my notification notice...
I don't know much about GOOD shoes... I have previously purchased Sketchers... and those shoes lasted me 6 years.... I still have them and wear them for outdoor days when I don't want to get my shoes dirty. HA
So... my daughter ordered me these Brook runners last January... I used them for about 4 months and then retired them for the winter. I did not like the fact that they were pull ons ... I never did get used to that... JUST give me normal runners with laces... I LIKE laces.... Don't mess with my laces... HAHA... Anyways... my niece gave me a tread mill... and so I took my shoes off the shelf to clean the bottoms for the treadmill and I discovered a FAULT line right through the top of one of my runners... It just cracked and split... I have no idea when this happened... however... I spent 11 hours communicating with Reeboks... only to discover I was dealing with the wrong company....

When I called customer service toll free line for Brooks... it was a whole different experience. The representative did not even ask for any proof of purchase... She knew exactly what I was talking about when I told her my issue... and as a matter of fact... she indicated that Brooks no longer makes that model of shoe for the very reason I explained.

She asked me some questions about what kind of shoe I wanted and I simply told her... a WALKING shoe... and YOU can pick... WELL... she sent me a Ghost 16 walking shoe. I have not tried them yet as I had to get some oil for the treadmill. I am now ready to go... I am an avid walker... but I do not know what a good walking shoe needs to consist of. The shoes she sent me as a replacement were 50.00 more than my original purchase. I was blown away by her care of me.
