Could you be a cult leader?

I did not mean to touch any nerves. If you felt that then that is not on me. I was just courouse of your comment and wanted to understand what you were saying. I would only say to you that you might want to try and not be "challenged" when anyone speaks to you.

DV3.......As far as I know (speaking of me).....I believe exactly what you said------
"We don't follow any man but appreciate the word preached in truth from Genesis to Revelations."

As far as the "Church of God" out of Tenn. I am very familiar with their statement of faith and beliefs.
I even accept most of them such as abstaince from alcohol, and cursing, and moderation in dress.

I am not argueing in any way, but A questionable point of doctrine in Church of God doctrine is the Wesleyan teaching of total sanctification or, sinless perfection in this world, which, according to the Church of God and others in the Holiness Movement. I for one do not find that in the Bible.

Again, I hope that you understand that I am not arguing about their faith and beliefs or yours my dear.
They are yours and they are important to you and I respect that. I am just having a nice conversation with a nice Christian lady!

Lol,I was not upset,I'm sorry that came across. It was twice asked by you and answered. Hence duh youre getting on my last nerve again I'm sorry.

I was referencing the fact of our love for the Lord and the bible and being secure in knowing both.

I do not always agree with "Church " beliefs as a whole but I agree with the word.

I don't think I'm over sensitive in my beliefs but I really hate to hear ppl rip up the word of God bc of lack of understanding and wisdom. I try very hard to never judge whether one is a follower.

The statement of beliefs do question is that so called second act of grace as evidence by tongues, that divine healing is in the Atonement, and that 'sanctified holy living", which seems to be a code for reaching a sinless perfection state!

NEVER did nor does anyone teach sinless perfection but a continuing process of sanctification. They believe in if you sin you have an advocate with the Father and must repent and confess it to him to receive the constant state of grace.

Yes they do adhere to the totality of the gifts and functions of the Spirit as Paul stated them. They seek to receive the whole word and apply it to their lives.

If you don't KNOW something it it best to NEVER presume to know!

Do you hold then to the so called second act of grace, evidenced by speaking in other tongues, and what does that give to us those of us not receing that "experience" now lack?

Upon looking at their statement of faith, it seems to me that they believe in and teach the "entire sanctification" doctrine.

So the question then must be, what is "Entire Sanctification" as that term is NOT in the Bible anywhere.

But Yeshua.......wouldn't that make those individuals out to be a special group of Christians, an "elite" level of people?

Tell me.....are there any Scriptures you know of that teach us of such a position in Christ where some are better, more blessed than others who are in Christ????

Which sounds a lot like the Wesleyan experience of sinless perfection state?

1 Thessalonians 5:23

“And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” sanctification is a progress not a one time thing

John 17:17
Sanctify them through they truth: THY WORD IS TRUTH.
Heb.13:12
Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
1 These. 5:23
And the VERY GOD of peace sanctify you WHOLLY; and I pray God your WHOLE Spirit and SOUL and BODY be preserved blameless unto the coming ou our Lord Jesus Christ.

This is my last response to any question on any denomination. I am a child of God ,I stand in his word as the Spirit has led me. My beliefs are illuminated in his word and I walk in the path as he guides me!

A 'Christian' should never vote for or against someone due to skin color.
what about type church affiliation i am not a romney fan spelling * could a Mormon be a good national leader . if memory serves right i think kennedy being catholic raised eye brows. but seemed to be a effective president

I appreciate your comment........but it does not answer the question of "What is Entire Sanctification".
