So he claimed as a 'good' politician would when there was a high pecentage of born agains after the 'Jesus People' movement.
I just have my doubts considering his stance on evolution and gay marriage, with statements like " “I think Jesus would encourage any love affair if it was honest and sincere and was not damaging to anyone else and I don’t see that gay marriage damages anyone else”.

Gay marriage ok but then what about gay divorce?

I guess ppl didn't think that far.

Though there is a musical actually called the Gay Divorcee so...maybe it was prescient. You can't get divorced if you weren't married in the first place.
 
Would you say this activity in the cult growths with big established as LDS,JW and others as well as independant ones is the fault of the BELIEVERS for not being Labour's in the field more?
What about Amish,Quakers and Middionites, are these cults also? I know little to nothing of these.

We don't follow any man but appreciate the word preached in truth from Genesis to Revelations.

While we appreciate the carrier of the word it must be in His word or it's just an opinion.

We clan as blood family and each has their own understanding which we share and search out.

We ARE not Jesus only,nor KJ only, we are full bible believing ppl. If I had to pick a denom it would be "Church of God" out of Tennessee. Not Baptist not Methodist, although I have a friend there whom I attend with on occasions, not JW, not Church of Christ, not LDS, not Lutheran, not Catholic,not Anglican ECT. Just BELIEVERS that hold to his word as the only authority over his children.
 
I think Quakers, Amish and Mennonites are more 'sects' than cults though I am not too sure what the difference is to be honest. lol

I think cults are more there is control and no freedom to choose what to believe, its always what the leader says goes, no other perspective is allowed.

Just wondering if the cult thread is something you are actually dealing with right now or just out of curiousity. Because if you ARE actually in a cult, that is dangerous because you can't leave when the cult leader changes their mind on a whim. They own you. Sort of like mind-control?

As I understand it, if you are pretty embedded in a cult, you won't want to leave, but you'd rather remain loyal to the cult and it's leader.

No I am not in a cult,never have been nor will be.

carter talked one thing .but did different when he supported same sex marriage that ruined his testimony . a minister/s/s
teacher that supports such .has no place in the ministry
 
Well politicians are always under pressure by the world to please others (like gay voters)
That's when it's time to get out of politics if it compromises your beliefs and ideals.
