No, the concept of free will in and of itself is not evil. Conceptual ideas themselves are neither good nor evil. Good or evil derives from the exercise of conceptual ideas, translating the ideas into action. The ultimate source of evil was Satan's exercise of free will. If free will never existed, evil would not exist since God, the Supreme Sovereign, is absolutely good, thus all of the universe would be capable of doing only good.

Agreed!

Since ppl obviously have different beliefs supposedly taken from the word, what does this say about us?

We ARE individual before God not a denomination !

Will the Lord let us or view us only through OUR salvation ?

Denominations are a product of man. They are not found in the Bible at all!

Salvation is defined as being delivered, by God's grace, from someting to something.
From sin and its consequence of eternal punishment and to Heaven and being raised to newness of life in Christ Jesus (Romans 6:4).
Salvation comes to those who repent and, by faith, receive Jesus alone as personal Savior and Lord (John 1:12).

When God looks at us, He must see the blood of Jesus on us or we are not saved.

When you share Jesus ,do you just start reciting @ the person or do you share of yourself first ?
A man must show himself friendly to have friend

I agree we must share ourselves for we are the light and if we are meant to share Jesus at the time, I believe the Spirit will work on both ppl.

You said.........
"A man must show himself friendly to have friend".

That comes from Proverbs 18:24........
"A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

AMEN!

Then in Gal. 5:22-24.......
22 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit."

Actions always speak louder than words!.

Before a lost sinner can be saved, he must realize that he is a lost sinner in need of the forgiveness of the Lord Jesus Christ. I usually say something like, "i am a sinner just like you, however I am also forgiven of my sin because Jesus paid the penalty for me. May I share with you how that is possible????
Personally I talk Jesus and share Him and what He did for all of us.

Looking at the Book of Acts, I don't see Peter taking part in 'friendship evangelism' and yet 3000 were saved in one day. (Acts 2:41)
I agree with this. It is preaching the good news evangelism ,a crowd.
Personal evangelism,I have found takes being open and friendly like standing in a line or talking with a cashier. People want someone to listen, and are more open themselves if shown an interest in them.

The Apostles were on fire and most ppl they met wanted something from them, such as the lame man wanting alms. Peter gave unto him the GIFT of healing instead !

Oh to be like those who personally knew Jesus in life. Full of the Spirit and a desire that ALL know the Messiah and Saviour.

Even in personal evangelism I believe this principle holds true...

1 Corinthians 3:6-7 (NASB) I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth.

So it is not dependent on our 'friendship techniques', or 'style of persuasion', but ultimately upon God's dealings with that individual by His Spirit and Word, a.k.a. by grace...IMHO.

Again I can agree. God uses all of our characstics when submitted to him, I'm an extrovert.

We must be about the Father's business as Jesus was. I'm praying for the younger to be strong in their faith and love for him. Where I can not go anymore they can and may God richly bless them.

I have found in others, I can not tolerate ARROGANCE,NOR OTHERS BEING HIGH MINDED.

It makes me ANGRY IN A SNAP and I want to knock them off THEIR OWN pedestal.

May I give you something from the Word of God to ponder over......

Romans 14:1-4 has spoken to me for 50 years...........
"As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions. One person believes he may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables. Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him. Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand."

As i have lived, and buried grandparents, parents, grandchildren, and more friends than I can remember, I have come to realize that the anger we may feel at some person pails in the story of life. LIFE is hard and tuff but we are not called to be angry at people and fight. We are called to love each other and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to a struggling world.

Anything less than that is generated by the enemy to get our eyes off of Christ and onto ourselves!

I completely agree.
Even though the scripture you chose is very good and I use it to let others have their own opinions about their faith, what day to worship, whether they believe they can never walk away from God ect. etc.

I don't think it applies to what I'm referring to although there are a lot in the word that the Spirit does point me to.

I don't call it a gift but after a few discussion with someone I can peg their character and where they are coming from. I can tell when a person thinks they know more,or better than myself, and acts superior in their supposed knowledge. This is not discussion!

I do not like ppl that talk down to another for as has been stated, GOD IS NO RESPECTER OF PERSONS NOR DOES HE ESTEEM ONE ABOVE ANOTHER!

I do not consider a preacher, teacher, evangelist or layman to be any better than myself nor vice versa.

I do not know anyone who would disagree with that statement and you can count me as agreeing 100% with you.

Instead of arrogance, the Bible teaches us the opposite. In writing to the church in Corinth, Paul describes the love. Of the many facets of God’s love, arrogance is the reverse in 1 Corth. 13:4......
"Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant”.

Being boastful and having that “I’m better than you” attitude reeks of intimidation and an attitude of bullying and destroys our relationships with others. However, Jesus taught us to put others before self:

Mark 10:43-45.........
“But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many”.

“The difference between school and life? In school, you’re taught a lesson and then given a test. In life, you’re given a test that teaches you a lesson.” -Tom Bodett

What opinions do ppl hold to Jesus' words " endure to the end" ?

Mark 13:13-16 (NASB) "You will be hated by all because of My name, but the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. "But when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION standing where it should not be (let the reader understand), then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains. "The one who is on the housetop must not go down, or go in to get anything out of his house; and the one who is in the field must not turn back to get his coat.

IMHO...this happens during the tribulation, compare 2Thess 2:4 with v.14

(2Th 2:4) who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.

The current Church won't be here at that time, so this applies to the Tribulation Saints....IMHO

Mt.24:11-14.... in context
And many false prophets shall rise,AND SHALL DECEIVE MANY.
And because INIQUITY ( sin/ unrighteousness) shall abound, the LOVE OF MANY SHALL WAX COLD...( lukewarmness, apostasy)
But HE THAT SHALL ENDURE
UNTO THE END,the same shall be saved
And THIS GOSPEL of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a WITNESS unto ALL nations; and then shall the end come.

Mk.13:11-14 KJV ( context
But when they shall LEAD YOU, and DELIVER YOU UP,......(to who shall be delivered to) [ who is Jesus talking to that will be delivered up? ], take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but WHATSOEVER SHALL BE GIVEN YOU in that hour, that speak ye: for IT IS NOT YE that speak, but the Holy Ghost............we know these are NOT TRIBULATION SAINTS,for the Spirit will not be here during that time,( only he who now let's will let until he be taken out of the way) 2 Thess.2:7
Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death [ WHY?]
And he shall BE HATED OF ALL MEN FOR MY NAMES ( Jesus) ,SAKE: but he that shall endure unto the end ( end of what, the time ? Their life?) the same shall be saved.
But when he shall see the AOD ,spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not,( let him that readers understand...[ mid], then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains.

James 5:11
Behold, we count them HAPPY WHICH ENDURE. He have heard of the PATIENCE of Job,and HAVE SEEN THE END OF THE LORD..( Death) that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

we know these are NOT TRIBULATION SAINTS,for the Spirit will not be here during that time,( only he who now let's will let until he be taken out of the way) 2 Thess.2:7
The Holy Spirit, being God, is omnipresent (everywhere present). It's a huge assumption to say the Holy Spirit ceases working during the GT.
We see many saved during the GT...mainly Jews...

(Rev 7:1) After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow on earth or sea or against any tree.
(Rev 7:2) Then I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, with the seal of the living God, and he called with a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm earth and sea,
(Rev 7:3) saying, “Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.”
(Rev 7:4) And I heard the number of the sealed, 144,000, sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel:
(Rev 7:5) 12,000 from the tribe of Judah were sealed, 12,000 from the tribe of Reuben, 12,000 from the tribe of Gad,
(Rev 7:6) 12,000 from the tribe of Asher, 12,000 from the tribe of Naphtali, 12,000 from the tribe of Manasseh,
(Rev 7:7) 12,000 from the tribe of Simeon, 12,000 from the tribe of Levi, 12,000 from the tribe of Issachar,
(Rev 7:8) 12,000 from the tribe of Zebulun, 12,000 from the tribe of Joseph, 12,000 from the tribe of Benjamin were sealed.

No one is saved apart from the work of God's Spirit.
If "only those who endured to the end" were saved apart from God's Spirit then salvation is by works/self effort.

Mark 13:13-16 (NASB) "You will be hated by all because of My name, but the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. "But when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION standing where it should not be (let the reader understand), then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains. Agreed 100%!
